Using my traveler's notebook to build a calmer, more intentional life with mindful, creative practices like journaling, art-making, life documentation, and more.
The nitty-gritty: In 2021, my life changed dramatically when my husband was diagnosed with terminal cancer and I discovered I was suffering from complex PTSD. That year, and all those that have followed since, radically shifted my priorities. As of 2026, I'm widowed, recovering from past traumas, and rebuilding – and this channel has been a significant part of that process.
From Jenn isn’t just about my journey through life, though. It’s about your own journey into the mindful, creative practices that resonate with you, and how you can embrace them to build the life you actually want.

When your boots need a spiffing up, but the only leather balm you have is the one you bought for your journal. I know my priorities. 😂

This is a totally nosy question and there's no wrong answer, but I'm wondering how everyone's feeling about subscriptions these days.
I'm especially interested in ways you'd feel okay supporting creators if you're feeling subscription fatigue, so feel free to elaborate on that in the comments (product purchases? super chats? classes and workshops?)
But first..how many paid newsletters or creator subscriptions are you paying for right now?

It's RAINING, y'all! This is a such a rarity in the warm months in SoCal! Perfect day to light a candle and snuggle up with a notebook and pen. Am I the only one who sees certain conditions as "journaling weather"?

Breaking news! Traveler’s Company announced their 2027 theme and I love that it’s a whole freaking sentence. “Every Traveler’s Notebook is unique and that’s wonderful.” Just reading it makes me smile. The new theme releases October 19 in North America and you can see pics here: www.travelers-company.com/products/trnote/2027-dia…

Join me as I find myself in a Laramie coffee shop and bookstore, a place where I never spent much time, despite it being an hour from my old home. In this episode of my 50 States adventure, I'm sipping a latte, exploring an Old West historical site, journaling, and sharing some thoughts about the sort of welcome that doesn't come from the outside.

I'm back! I feel like it's been forever since I've been able to post a new video.
Let's just say that it's a good thing you never have to send a traveler's notebook to the repair shop for weeks just because of a wee bit of liquid damage. Please tell me I'm not the only one who has ever spilled coffee in my laptop?! 🫣

We're halfway through my 12 weeks of Traveler's Notebook, and I'm curious, what would you like to see more of? (I can only offer four poll options, but please add anything else you're missing in the comments!)

I'm trying something. For the next three months, you're going to see a lot of Traveler's Notebook content on the channel.
My notebook is my constant companion, especially now that I live alone. It really represents my relationship with myself, so it makes sense to filter the stories of my life through the lens of the vessel that holds those stories. Plus, it's a way to showcase the kind of mindful creativity I'm always going on about.
And! You guys seem to enjoy it? Let me know what you've thought about the last couple of videos.
And, just so you know, I'm still diving into some deeper emotional content in the newsletter that goes out with each new release. You can join me for that at fromjenn.substack.com/.
