Today was one of those mornings I’ll genuinely remember. 🇮🇩❤️🇵🇰

On Indonesia’s Independence Day, I was invited by the Consulate General of Indonesia in Karachi and had the honor of receiving an Appreciation Award for my Indonesia video series on YouTube.

The morning began with Quran recitation, followed by the flag-raising ceremony, cake cutting and the award ceremony. Receiving the award from the Consul General of Indonesia was honestly a very special moment for me.

I also wore a traditional Indonesian Batik that I bought in Jakarta. The Consul General appreciated it, which made it even more meaningful. I’ve always believed that when you visit another country, respecting and embracing its culture is one of the best ways to connect with its people. 🇮🇩

And of course, there was some amazing traditional Indonesian food too! ❤️

What touched me most was seeing a country appreciate people who genuinely try to promote its culture, food and tourism. It reminds you that the work you put in really does matter. I wish we saw more of this kind of appreciation back home too.

Thank you, Indonesia, for the love, warmth and recognition. This means more than you know and gives me even more motivation to keep travelling, exploring and telling stories.

Lekin in sab ke bawajood, Pakistan hamara ghar hai.

Aur ghar ko sirf celebrate nahi kiya jata,
ghar ke liye umeed bhi rakhi jati hai aur behtari ke liye kaam bhi kiya jata hai.

Is 14 August, shikayaton ke saath umeed bhi rakhein.
Apna hissa daalein, behtar Pakistan ke liye kaam karein aur yaqeen rakhein…

Today is my birthday...
Another year older, but more than that… another year of lessons, silent battles, growth, and becoming someone I once needed.
Time really doesn’t slow down, but maybe that’s the beauty of it... it keeps pushing you forward, whether you’re ready or not.
