🚨 WE’RE DOING SOMETHING A LITTLE DIFFERENT THIS SEPTEMBER! ❤️
For the entire month of September, I’m donating 100% of the money I receive through my YouTube channel AND all merch sales to charity!
We will be donating to Newlife Rescue again!
That means every single one of these counts:
💰 Super Chats 🎁 Gifts 🙏 Super Thanks ⭐ Channel Memberships 👕 MERCH SALES
So if you’ve ever wanted to support the channel, September is the perfect time to do it, because your support will be helping somebody else too.
There are a few ways you can help:
👉 Watch and share the LIVE streams 👉 Send a Super Chat, Gift, or Super Thanks 👉 Become a channel member 👉 Buy some Mushbag merch 👉 Most importantly, SHARE THIS POST so we can reach more people!
This video from THE MUSHBAG LIVE! chronicles their philanthropic effort to support a local animal shelter. Here is a detailed breakdown of their visit and the impact they hope to make:
The Donation Campaign (0:00-0:33, 3:42-3:57): Since becoming monetized on YouTube in November, the creators have been dedicating their livestream proceeds to New Life Rescue, an animal shelter located in Carbonear, Newfoundland. After collecting $106 from viewer donations, the creators decided to match that amount 100%, resulting in a total contribution of $215 to help the shelter's animals.
The Cat Adoption Event (0:35-0:48, 3:21-3:40): The creators visited New Life Rescue specifically during a one-day promotional event, where all cat adoptions were 50% off. This initiative was designed to help vaccinated cats find their forever homes more quickly.
Welcoming Bestie (4:08-4:44): While there to drop off the donation, the creators unexpectedly decided to foster a cat named Bestie. They brought her home to see if she would integrate well with their existing puppy. They mentioned that their current arrangement is for fostering, with the potential for long-term adoption if the transition goes smoothly.
Settling In (4:47-6:09): The video concludes at the creators' home, where they carefully introduce Bestie to their puppy. The dog showed significant curiosity and intense focus on the new feline addition, marking the first steps in their potential future together.
How You Can Help: The creators encourage viewers to continue supporting the cause. If you would like to help New Life Rescue, you can send a Super Thanks on this video; the creators have stated that all proceeds from these contributions will be donated directly to the shelter to help the animals.
🚀 Big News from the Basement – I Just Applied to the WSOP Vlogger Program! Hey fam, I took the shot and emailed my application to the official WSOP Vlogger Program today! 🎉 If accepted, I’d get to vlog my poker journey at WSOP events — tickets, media access, the whole thing. As a Canadian Armed Forces vet grinding ClubGG from Newfoundland every night, this would mean everything. The catch? I’m currently sitting at ~2,100 subscribers. The program requires 5,000+ subs (plus 60%+ poker content). I’m pushing hard and growing fast, but I need your help to hit that number quicker! If you enjoy the chaotic poker streams, bad jokes, real talk, and Newfoundland vibes — please: ✅ Subscribe here: youtube.com/@themushbag ✅ Like and turn on notifications ✅ Share this post or my channel with your poker buddies, Discord servers, Reddit groups, Instagram, TikTok — anywhere! ✅ Drop a comment telling me your biggest poker leak or why you watch — let’s get the algorithm moving! Every sub gets me one step closer to covering WSOP for real. Once I hit 5k I’ll be dropping even more edited highlights, tournament runs, and behind-the-scenes stuff. Let’s make this happen together. Who’s sharing this far and wide? 👀 Thank you — means a lot. — Neil (The Mushbag / soon-to-be WSOP Vlogger?) #WSOP#PokerVlogger#NewfoundlandPoker#GrindNeverStops
