It's a maiden Republic Bank CPL title for the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons, first final in their 3rd appearance in the CPL, they've done it and more importantly in honor of Sir Curtly Ambrose birthday and it's also the highest run chase in CPL finals don't forget that.

It was an emphatic victory set up by Sufiyan Muqeem with his 4 wicket haul that led to the batting collapse of the Jamaica Kingsmen and then Amir Jangoo led the chase with an emphatic 57 not out of 34 & Hasan Nawaz 47 off 35 and they deserve a lot of love and respect.

Spare a thought for the Jamaica Kingsmen and in particular Maaz Sadaqat who scored 114 off 57 but the thing was he did not had any support from the others with the exception of Saim Ayub and that was the big lot though but they should be proud of themselves for reaching the final.

Shout out to my followers from Antigua & Barbuda wherever you are. I think this is the smallest island population wise to win the CPL and this was against all expectations because a lot of people including myself and several others who I know personally wrote them off.

Today, Ed Sheeran who I have a lot of respect for was forced to remove Macklemore who was opening for him on his US tour because of this nasty hypocrite who happens to be the owner of NFL's New England Patriots Robert Kraft.

I also did some research a while ago & it's no surprise that him & 8 NFL owners are friends with pedophile Trump who's facing 88 criminal counts across 4 legal cases & hasn't been jailed.

Plus he is the same one who is instigating the terrorism that Israel is committing daily on the people of Palestine I'm not just them alone bombing Iran too. If the Biden administration was worst regarding it's handling of the war, this administration under Trump doing nothing.

I'm also very disappointed with many sports stars from NFL, NBA, MLB and even from the world of association football & cricket too who are reluctant to speak out on what is happening and credit must be given to those independent journalists continuing daily to speak out for Gaza.

My message to Ed Sheeran who has never taken any political sides at all is - It's not too late to cancel the rest of the US tour out of respect for your friend of 13 years Macklemore. Robert Kraft needs to mind his own business because his team hasn't won Super Bowl since 2018.

Last night for the second time in the history of CPL, TKR have not only failed to make the playoffs but also finished in last place also huge congratulations to the Guyana Amazon Warriors on winning it's 100th CPL match. They haven't won much titles but have always been a red hot team also I have to add this is the 8th victory out of 9 games in the league phase.

Today marks 25 years since the 9/11 attacks at the World Trade Center and I had the pleasure of taking this picture of the World Trade Center back in January 2018.

On the morning of September 11th, 19 terrorists associated with al-Qaeda hijacked four commercial passenger jet airliners mid-flight. The 1st plane, American Airlines Flight 11 crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center (WTC) in New York City at 8:46 AM. The 2nd plane, United Airlines Flight 175 crashed into the South Tower of the WTC at 9:03 AM. The 3rd plane, American Airlines Flight 77 crashed into the western facade of the Pentagon (the U.S. military headquarters) in Arlington County, Virginia, at 9:37 AM. The 4th plane, United Airlines Flight 93 crashed into an empty field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania, at 10:03 AM. Passengers on board fought back against the hijackers after learning about the other attacks, preventing the plane from hitting its suspected target (the U.S. Capitol or the White House).

The attacks resulted in the deaths of 2,996 people (2,977 victims and the 19 hijackers).

2,606 people died at the World Trade Center towers or later from injuries, including hundreds of first responders (343 firefighters and 71 law enforcement officers).

125 military and civilians died in the Pentagon and all 246 passengers & crew members were killed across all 4 planes

Just a few days ago, New York City mayor Zohran Mamdani and his administration released more than 170,000 pages of documents related to the air quality around the World Trade Center site in the months after the Sept. 11 attacks and it was revealed that offiicials of the Rudy Giuliani administration misled New Yorkers around the air quality around the World Trade Center site in the months post 9/11.

Trinbago Knight Riders have played only it's 2nd perfect game in the Republic Bank CPL 2026 last night this is following a 35 run victory over Barbados Tridents at the Kensington Oval. Only Colin Munro 38 & Nicholas Pooran 59 was in the runs for TKR while again the rest of the batting failed again.

Then, the spinners minus Usman Tariq who was wicketless was excellent, the evergreen Narine was way too good and Goolie was the surprise package with the ball.

Why they wasn't playing good cricket all season was because they wasn't good enough why after being eliminated from playoff contention, they finally starting to win. SMH!
