Sexualizing someone without their consent is not funny, edgy, mature, or impressive. It is childish, immature, and disrespectful.
Putting sexual comments over an anime picture, adding a meme, or hiding behind “it’s just a joke” does not make the behavior acceptable. A joke is not a free pass to ignore someone's boundaries.
There is a clear difference between consensual sexual humor between people who are comfortable with it and publicly making inappropriate comments about someone who never agreed to be part of that joke. Context matters. Consent matters. Boundaries matter.
Being online does not give anyone permission to treat other people like objects. A public picture is not an invitation. An anime image is not an excuse. An anonymous account is not protection from criticism.
And calling people “too sensitive” because they object to your behavior is not maturity. Maturity is understanding when to stop. Respect is knowing that other people have boundaries. If someone tells you that your behavior is inappropriate, the childish response is to make excuses and keep doing it.
You do not become funny by being sexually inappropriate. You do not become confident by making people uncomfortable. You do not become “edgy” by refusing to respect boundaries.
Men are not all like this, and women are not all perfect. Criticize the person and the behavior instead of turning it into a gender war. Anyone can be disrespectful, and anyone can be a victim of it.
Accountability also does not mean wishing death on someone or harassing them back. It means calling out the behavior, setting boundaries, and expecting people to take responsibility for what they do.
At some point, “bro, it’s just a joke” stops being an excuse and starts exposing exactly how immature the person making the joke is.
Grow up. Learn boundaries. Learn consent. Stop treating other people like objects for your entertainment.
