🚨🇮🇹🇬🇧 **ITALY AND ENGLAND APPEAR TO BE MOVING IN VERY DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS ON SCHOOLS AND INTEGRATION.**
Italy is discussing proposals involving:
👉 Restrictions on full-face coverings in schools
👉 Limits on concentrations of foreign pupils in individual classrooms
👉 Stronger expectations around learning Italian and integration
Meanwhile, here in England, a state-funded school has been at the centre of a row over a uniform policy involving hijabs for girls from around the age of seven.
That produced a very simple question in Parliament:
**SHOULD A SCHOOL EVER FORCE A CHILD TO WEAR RELIGIOUS CLOTHING?**
An adult choosing religious dress?
Their freedom.
A child being told by a school that it is compulsory?
That is a completely different argument.
But the biggest issue in today’s video may actually be this:
**WHO MADE THE DECISION — AND WHO WAS ACCOUNTABLE FOR IT?**
Because publicly funded schools ultimately answer to taxpayers and the wider democratic system.
So if controversial decisions are being made, people should know:
Who approved them?
Why?
What was debated?
And who can be held accountable?
🇮🇹 Italy is putting its proposed changes into the political arena.
🇬🇧 Here, critics argue too many decisions happen through administrative processes most people never hear about.
So what do you think?
Should religious clothing ever be compulsory for children?
Should integration rules be tougher?
And should elected representatives have far more direct oversight over decisions involving publicly funded schools?

🚨🇬🇧 **ANOTHER ENGLISH COMMUNITY HAS TURNED OUT AGAINST LARGE-SCALE ASYLUM ACCOMMODATION.**
This time it is **Crowborough**.
Residents have been protesting around a former military site being used for asylum accommodation.
And one thing has really caught people’s attention.
Signs around the site reportedly say:
**NO SPITTING.
NO URINATING.
NO DEFECATING.**
But the bigger argument is not really about the signs.
It is this:
**WHO DECIDES WHAT HAPPENS TO A LOCAL COMMUNITY?**
People keep hearing that asylum hotels are being reduced.
But if residents are simply moved into:
👉 Military sites
👉 Large accommodation centres
👉 HMOs
👉 Processing centres
…the political argument has not disappeared.
It has simply moved somewhere else.
And then another town or village starts asking:
Why here?
How many people?
What impact on services?
Were we consulted?
Who is responsible?
Opposing a particular site does not mean judging every migrant or asylum seeker as the same.
But local communities are still entitled to ask serious questions about scale, infrastructure and control.
And peaceful protest must remain exactly that — peaceful.
Because political disagreement should never become an excuse for intimidation or violence.
🇬🇧 Are Crowborough residents right to protest?
🇬🇧 Should communities have more control over these decisions?
🇬🇧 And is government solving the problem — or simply moving it around?

🚨🇬🇧 **SHOULD A SCHOOL EVER BE ALLOWED TO REQUIRE A SEVEN-YEAR-OLD GIRL TO WEAR A HIJAB?**
That question was raised directly in Parliament.
The government’s answer?
**NO.**
The school at the centre of the row has since clarified that hijabs are not compulsory.
And that is the important distinction.
A child choosing to wear religious clothing is one thing.
A SCHOOL requiring it is another.
Whatever your religion or background, surely the principle should be:
**RELIGIOUS PRACTICE SHOULD NOT BE FORCED ON CHILDREN BY THE SCHOOL ITSELF.**
Then today’s video moves into another Westminster argument — political donations.
Reform says proposed changes to party-funding rules risk treating its large donors differently from the trade-union money Labour receives.
And that raises the obvious question:
**SHOULD THE SAME FUNDING RULES APPLY TO EVERYBODY?**
Because big money in politics deserves scrutiny whichever party benefits.
Who donated it?
Was it legal?
Was it properly declared?
And was anything expected in return?
Two completely different stories — but both come back to the same issue:
**ARE OUR INSTITUTIONS ACCOUNTABLE TO THE PEOPLE THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO SERVE?**
🇬🇧 Should schools be able to impose religious clothing?
🇬🇧 Should political donations be capped?
🇬🇧 And should the same standards apply to every party?

🚨🇬🇧 **A POLITICAL PARTY HAS CANCELLED CAMPAIGNING IN LONDON — AND NOW SAYS ITS VOLUNTEERS WILL NEED PRIVATE SECURITY.**
Restore Britain campaigners were confronted while leafleting in Holborn and St Pancras.
Restore says one supporter ended up in hospital.
There has reportedly been an arrest.
And the party has now:
❌ Cancelled its next public campaign session
📬 Switched to paid leaflet delivery
🛡️ Announced private security for future campaigning
Whatever you think of Rupert Lowe or Restore Britain, that should worry you.
Because political disagreement is supposed to be settled with:
**ARGUMENTS AND BALLOT PAPERS.**
Not intimidation.
Not violence.
But there is another side to this story.
Recent anti-immigration protests have also escalated, with talk of blockades and surrounding accommodation sites.
That crosses into a different argument about what peaceful protest actually permits.
And this is where things become dangerous.
If each side starts believing:
**“THE LAW COMES DOWN HARD ON US BUT LOOKS THE OTHER WAY FOR THEM”**
…trust disappears.
No, Britain is not in a civil war.
But campaigners requiring private security, physical political confrontations and growing distrust of the state are not signs anybody should casually dismiss.
Even Zia Yusuf — despite his political battles with Rupert Lowe — condemned what happened.
That is how it should be.
**YOU CAN OPPOSE SOMEONE’S POLITICS WITHOUT ACCEPTING VIOLENCE AGAINST THEM.**
🇬🇧 Has political tension gone too far?
🇬🇧 Should every party condemn this?
🇬🇧 And what happens if people lose faith that the law treats everybody equally?

🚨🇪🇺 **URSULA VON DER LEYEN HAS OFFERED CANADA A FORM OF EU MEMBERSHIP THAT DOESN’T CURRENTLY EXIST.**
She wants Canada to become the EU’s first:
**“ASSOCIATE MEMBER.”**
The problem?
There is currently no established EU membership category by that name.
No existing rule book.
No settled rights.
No settled obligations.
And any meaningful new arrangement would need the support of EU governments.
Yet reports say von der Leyen had not broadly consulted all 27 member states before announcing the idea.
Now Donald Trump has warned that if the move is viewed as hostile, Europe could face serious trade consequences.
So this has very quickly become much bigger than Canada and Europe agreeing to work more closely.
The real questions are:
👉 What does “associate member” actually mean?
👉 Who approves it?
👉 What powers would Canada get?
👉 What obligations would it accept?
👉 And why announce it before the structure exists?
There is nothing unusual about closer Canada-EU cooperation.
But creating an entirely new political status is another matter.
🇪🇺 Is this bold diplomacy?
🇨🇦 A sensible new alliance?
Or has Brussels announced the headline before working out the details?

🚨🇬🇧 **REFORM HAS £72 MILLION IN RECORD DONATIONS — AND NOW THE WORD “RETROSPECTIVE” HAS BLOWN THIS ARGUMENT WIDE OPEN.**
Angela Rayner says people should not be able to:
**“BUY THEIR WAY INTO OUR DEMOCRACY.”**
Fair enough.
But the really important question is what happens to money that was ALREADY donated.
Reform received:
💷 £36 million from one donor
💷 £36 million from another
And Reform says those donations were lawful.
Rayner has now discussed legislation containing retrospective elements.
So the question is:
**IF MONEY WAS LEGAL WHEN IT WAS GIVEN, SHOULD NEW RULES BE ABLE TO REACH BACK AND AFFECT IT?**
Zia Yusuf says absolutely not and has accused the government of targeting its political opponent.
The government’s argument is different.
It says retrospective provisions can stop people exploiting loopholes before new restrictions take effect.
And that is the debate.
The £72 million has NOT simply been confiscated.
But the question of whether future rules could affect existing donations is now very real.
And whatever party you support, one principle surely matters:
**THE SAME RULES HAVE TO APPLY TO EVERYBODY.**
Reform.
Labour.
Conservatives.
Unions.
Billionaires.
Everybody.
🇬🇧 Should political donations be capped?
🇬🇧 Should rules ever be retrospective?
🇬🇧 And if a donation was lawful when received, should it later have to be returned?

🚨🇬🇧 **RESTORE BRITAIN CAMPAIGNERS WERE CONFRONTED IN LONDON — AND RUPERT LOWE SAYS AT LEAST ONE PERSON ENDED UP IN HOSPITAL.**
There are competing accounts of exactly what happened.
So individual allegations still need to be properly established.
But the footage makes one thing clear:
**THIS WASN’T JUST PEOPLE ARGUING ONLINE.**
It happened on the streets during an election campaign.
And the principle should be simple.
People are entitled to protest against Restore Britain.
They can chant.
They can hold placards.
They can say they despise everything Restore stands for.
But Restore Britain campaigners are equally entitled to hand out leaflets and campaign peacefully.
Political disagreement should be settled with:
🗳️ Votes
📢 Arguments
📄 Campaigning
NOT physical intimidation.
According to Rupert Lowe, the fallout is already serious:
❌ Tomorrow’s public campaign session cancelled
🛡️ Private security planned for future events
📬 Leaflets being delivered instead
👮 Complaint being taken to the Met
Whatever your view of Restore Britain, that should worry you.
Because once political violence becomes acceptable against one side, it eventually gets used against another.
There is also a strategic question.
Should Restore even be concentrating so heavily on London right now?
Or should it build strength first in counties, towns and shires where its message may have more support?
🇬🇧 Was Restore treated fairly?
🇬🇧 Should every party condemn political intimidation?
🇬🇧 And what does it say about politics if campaigners need private security just to hand out leaflets?

🚨🇬🇧 **A MIGRATION EXPERT HAS JUST SAID THE QUIET PART OUT LOUD ABOUT THE SMALL BOATS.**
His argument?
**PEOPLE KEEP COMING BECAUSE THEY BELIEVE THAT ONCE THEY REACH BRITAIN, THEY’LL BE ALLOWED TO STAY.**
Dr Zubir Ahmed challenged Alp Mehmet over the American model of immigration enforcement.
Ahmed’s concern was that Britain should not copy the wider aggressive approach associated with the US.
Mehmet’s reply was simple:
**“SECURING YOUR BORDERS IS TOTALLY BRITISH.”**
His proposal is not “copy America”.
It is:
👉 Detain illegal arrivals
👉 Process cases quickly
👉 Return people where appropriate
👉 Break the expectation that crossing the Channel guarantees a long-term stay
That is the core argument.
Ahmed then asked whether Brexit made returns harder by reducing cooperation with Europe.
Mehmet’s answer?
The previous Dublin arrangements were too slow and too ineffective to create a deterrent anyway.
So the real question is not which slogan sounds best.
It is:
**WHAT ACTUALLY STOPS THE BOATS?**
🇬🇧 Is Mehmet right?
🇬🇧 Does the current system create the wrong incentive?
🇬🇧 And should immigration policy be judged by whether crossings actually fall?

🚨🇬🇧 **RUPERT LOWE IS PREPARING TO TAKE A DEVELOPMENT FIGHT LEGAL — EVEN THOUGH THE COUNCIL INVOLVED IS RUN BY REFORM.**
That matters.
Because his message is basically:
**“I DON’T CARE WHOSE PARTY RUNS THE COUNCIL. IF I THINK MY CONSTITUENCY IS BEING DAMAGED, I’LL OPPOSE IT.”**
The dispute involves:
🌾 Grade 1 farmland
🏠 Around 446 homes
🏥 Pressure on health services
🚗 Roads and infrastructure
🚽 Sewage concerns
Lowe says he is prepared to pursue the matter legally if necessary.
And that could set an interesting precedent.
Because across the country, communities keep asking the same question:
**WHO ACTUALLY GETS TO DECIDE WHAT HAPPENS TO THE PLACE WE LIVE?**
That same issue appears in Pittington.
Different policy.
Different location.
But the same argument over local consent.
One resident there says parts of the asylum-site campaign have become too extreme and accuses others of using dehumanising rhetoric.
Fair enough — that criticism should be heard.
But equally, calling people “far right” does not answer questions about:
👉 Scale
👉 Infrastructure
👉 Policing
👉 Consultation
👉 Local capacity
That is the real argument.
Local democracy cannot just mean voting every few years and then being told:
**“THE DECISION HAS BEEN MADE.”**
🇬🇧 Should Lowe take this development fight to court?
🇬🇧 Should Grade 1 farmland be protected?
🇬🇧 And how much say should local communities actually have?

🚨🇬🇧 **RUPERT LOWE HAS TAKEN HIS IMMIGRATION ARGUMENT OUT OF PARLIAMENT AND STRAIGHT INTO THE COMMUNITY.**
He went directly to **Pittington**, where plans for large-scale asylum accommodation have created huge local opposition.
And his argument is simple:
**STOP TALKING ONLY ABOUT WHERE PEOPLE SHOULD BE HOUSED — START ASKING WHO ACTUALLY HAS A RIGHT TO REMAIN.**
Lowe says illegal migration is damaging what he calls Britain’s **“high-trust society.”**
His wider message is that people lose trust when government makes major decisions about their communities and they feel they have little meaningful say.
Pittington has already shown just how deep that anger can go.
Residents protested.
They spoke publicly.
They even held a symbolic referendum.
And now Lowe is linking that local anger directly to Restore Britain’s national deportation policy.
That does not mean every migrant or asylum seeker is the same.
Individual cases and legal status matter.
But the political question is unavoidable:
**WHAT SHOULD THE RULES BE — AND WILL GOVERNMENT ENFORCE THEM?**
Lowe is also openly attacking the BBC and arguing that establishment institutions are not presenting his position fairly.
So you can see the strategy developing:
📍 Go to the communities
📄 Publish the policy
🏛️ Challenge government
📺 Bypass institutions he distrusts
🇬🇧 Take the argument directly to voters
The real test now is whether Restore can show its proposed policy would actually work in practice.
👇 What do you think?
Should politicians spend more time on the ground?
Should the argument move from accommodation to removal?
And do you trust government and the media to handle this issue honestly?
