Retiring…When we first started planning for the future, we spent a lot of time looking at the numbers and figuring out if retirement was even possible. But now that we are looking at this next chapter, a much bigger question has come up: What does day-to-day life actually look like?

To be completely honest, we realized that we don’t always picture the future exactly the same way. Between balancing a deep desire for travel and exploration with the need for a comfortable, stable home base, we have some different visions to work through.

🚐 We're back on the road!

After a busy few months, it felt great to get back out in the van and spend a few days exploring somewhere new.

This trip gave us a chance to slow down, test out our new bike setup, enjoy some beautiful Florida scenery, and just get back to doing what we love.

Our newest adventure is live now, and we'd love to have you come along for the ride.

🚴‍♂️ We Finally Took the Leap! (New Video Is LIVE)
After months of researching, debating, and trying to figure out what actually makes sense for our travel setup, we finally did it—we bought e-bikes!

But we didn't just stop there. To actually get these things on the road, we had to figure out a bike rack, a swing-away hitch so we can still open the back doors of the van, and a few essential accessories.

As always, we have absolutely no sponsors or partnerships for this gear. This is just us spending our own hard-earned money and giving you our completely honest, unfiltered first impressions. From the reality of "toolless assembly" in the hot Florida sun to our very first test rides (and dealing with some surprising throttle power!), we’re sharing the whole learning curve with you.

Are e-bikes the missing piece for RV travel, or did we just make a very expensive mistake?

New video is finally up! 🚐

We made a handful of small upgrades to the van that have already made everyday van life more comfortable and usable — including extra counter space, a new table setup, a fan upgrade, and finally fixing one little annoyance that had been driving us nuts 😄

Nothing flashy… just real-world improvements that made a big difference for us.

Thanks again for sticking with us while life slowed us down for a bit. We’re happy to be getting back out there again ❤️

Over the past few weeks we’ve been spending our time with family. Larry’s mom became very ill very quickly, and she passed away a few days ago.

It’s been a difficult time, and we’ve been focused on being there and handling everything that comes with it. We didn’t want to come back without letting you know why we’ve been quiet.

We do have a couple videos already filmed and will be sharing those soon. Things may be a little slower for a bit, but we’ll be getting back to it.
