Ezra Vancil
Ezra Vancil is an American singer/songwriter based in Dallas, Texas. While in the past he has written and recorded in the rock, pop, and experimental genres, a more mature Vancil has now found a sense of permanent belonging and connection within the community of Americana artists. His life experiences shared in song can be serious and contemplative - touching on themes of addiction, depression, and divorce - but Vancil chronicles his escape from darkness with expressions of hope and love of life that are both inspiring and healing. #folkrock #folk #songwriter #recovery

A morning thought on creativity, the work we do, and what we do it for. Hope you enjoy. This is to some of the tracks from "Summer Tan" a song that will be released soon. The poem is from my book, Morning & Midnight. The video is friends and family who let me haunt them with a camera.. (thank y'all ;)

My new spoken-word video, “Waste Your Morning,” is here.
I made it with my family and friends, setting a poem from my book to the song “Poet’s Midnight.” It is a small celebration of life—and a reminder that nothing is wasted. Nothing is lost.
This also begins something bigger. Over the coming months, I’ll be releasing the rest of my double album, Morning & Midnight, to streaming—one song at a time. It’s time to finish letting this album go and make room for the new music Cozi and I are already creating.

I always enjoy sitting down with Arkash. He's the kind of host who asks questions that make you slow down and think a little deeper, and this conversation was one of my favorites.
If this conversation resonates, please like, subscribe, and share it with someone who might need a little hope today.
