I’ve been seeing it trend up and down my timeline for days now…about the influencer couple who decided to terminate their baby who had Down syndrome .. I said I wouldn’t speak on it,..but having a son with Down syndrome who has been such a light to my life…I just felt compelled to share his impact on my life….in 2018 when I got the news via ultrasound and blood test that my son would have Down syndrome I was terrified because I knew nothing about it, This was my first time ever hearing of it. The way the doctors insisted that it was a horrible thing…That he wouldn’t have “a good quality life” he would “struggle” and have “so many complications” made me so scared and I was offered termination up into 24 weeks. That thought made me sick to my stomach. I didn’t know much about Down syndrome but What I did know was that God gave me a beautiful baby who deserved a chance at life no matter how they’re born! I am SO GLAD, I decided to bring my boy into this world. His stay in the NICU showed me he was a fighter when he would have died after birth….he was deemed “failure to thrive” but now he is 8 years old and thriving more than ever. He’s shown me a whole new side of life that I didn’t know existed…How to love beyond limits, how to be more patient, kind, understanding, how to see the beauty in the smallest things, how to be more considerate. He’s also exceeded the doctors expectations of him..I’ve watched him grow and thrive and he’s just getting started..he’s not a mistake, or a “glitch” or a problem to have gotten rid of. He’s been one of the biggest blessings of my life. ❤️ Down Syndrome is not a death sentence, and most people with Down syndrome live fulfilling amazing lives. Sure ,It very much has its challenges just like everything else in life…however for me, the good outweighs the bad. Trisomy 21 -Down Syndrome is in my opinion a light to the world that has taught me so many things, gave me a different perspective on life and people and genuinely changed me in a beautiful way. Had I not taken on this journey, and had I listened to doctors I would’ve missed out on something so beautiful. 6 months update. 💖
In the thick of it, a few weeks away from the final trimester! Anddd whew…😅 I’m feeling it. Physically, mentally, emotionally. Raising 3 while growing 1 is no joke at all. Appointments, meetings, dinner, laundry,..so much more etc..while trying to care of myself is crazy sometimes…not to mention the added mountain of special needs parenting in itself. Sometimes I feel empowered, some days I am discouraged, feeling defeated and depleted. Trying to balance it all and sometimes losing my balance (literally) sometimes too lol. Going out seems like a chore sometimes, as I get tired quicker now. Realizing that prayer is how I stay afloat and how I will continue to stay afloat daily 😭 it’s been beautiful but stressful at the same time. Life will always be”life” but As long as I have my source, I know that I won’t drown! #deuteronomy31v8

Dear Family,

I just want to remind you that the Lord is faithful. 🙏🏼💕


His faithfulness to me has looked different in different seasons of my life. Whether I’m looking for him to provide a thing, or I’m asking for his peace in times of fear. In some seasons I’ve asked the Lord for his wisdom on how to handle my current situation, and he gave me the know how. Whatever your season is, whatever you are asking of him..be patient, and remember his faithfulness from before. Remember the times he came through when you needed him. Look at the things you have now that he’s given to you. Ask him to allow you to see even now in your current time how he has been faithful. Be steadfast in the waiting, praising him for his faithfulness. He can and will do it again ❤️

Hey YouTube family! Happy New Year to everyone!🎊 Ive truly missed you guys and being on here, and am so happy to share..🎉Our family is walking into 2025 with an extra special surprise blessing. ❤️ After 2024 being one of the most challenging years I’ve seen….to experience so many answered prayers at the tail end of it was overwhelming. A crazy BUT beautiful year nonetheless. The lord is so faithful, and amazing. We just passed our 9yr anniversary and our family is growing as well. All blessings!

Becoming is painful, but being stuck and stagnant is painful too. The choice is yours..and I've decided to choose to walk with him in the unknown, the dark, the intimidation, and uncertainty. I give in church, I very often give to the needy and homeless..if I have a few dollars, its out of my pockets. I never post about when i give..Well today I'm posting about it for GOD,s glory. I always give in church but lately I've been very intnentional and consistent about giving God the first fruit (the first monney I get, I dedicate it to God on Sunday. and don't touch it for anything else). Can I tell you that when I went out today someone paid for my gas, then someone gave me something free that I technically should've paid for at the store. Went to a thrive through and didn't have to pay for an item they usually charge me for......when I say I was almost brought to tears yall....God says give and ill give it back to you way more than you could even be able to recieve. Bless God and his promises ❤️🙏


Remember yall. God is faithful, his promises are true, and he is not a liar! Try him ❤️

And 10 years Later...My GOD. I'm still standing and still here. I was A very very broken girl, transformed by the love of God, brought to truth, Healed in many areas..and God is STILL not done!! If you know where I came from and who I was, you would rejoice with me 😭🙌. As I reflect and Even look at this picture, I know that Jesus has done a work. If I could go back and tell mysself anything is hold on, don't give up, God has amazing things in store for you. I would tell mysself God has a plan, and future for you. You will LIVE and NOT DIE! I'd say That the best is yet to come and God will heal and restore you. You have value, worth. You will have a beautiful family and so much much more... I still have so much more to tell...an amazing testimony. This year is personal.
