A man noticed that an old stone bridge beside the village fields was beginning to fail. Because farmers used the crossing to reach their crops, he decided to rebuild the curved stone arch by hand. He cleared the stream, made a wooden support frame, placed the original stones with fresh mortar, and restored the crossing. He then built a brick-and-cement reservoir nearby to collect irrigation water. Together, the bridge and water basin made daily work easier for the surrounding farming community.
