This tiny 2 Letter distinction is a major fluency killer. But here is the secret- It's not about guessing. It's about Grammar Geometry.

🤯 Ich bin im Raum oder Ich bin in der Raum
One simple Rule to kill this pain point forever. 😇
The Rule (Location = Dativ)
When you are talking about where something is (No movement), use Dative

It depend on Noun's gender.
Mas (der) & Neu (das) = im (in +dem)
Ich bin im Raum. (Mas)
Ich bin im Kino. (Neu)

Fem (die) = in der
Ich bin in der Küche. (Fem)

Hack for learners 😉
🔴 Stop memorizing Nouns. Memorize them as a Sound Package.
Don't learn ❌ Raum (der)
✅Learn im Raum
❌Bibliothek (die)
✅in der Bibliothek
❌Kino (das)
