I covered the Skelton case in November 2025. A 7-day preliminary hearing recently took place. John Skelton was bound over for trial. 🤩👏⚖️

On September 3, 2026, Lenawee County District Judge Laura J. Schaedler ruled that prosecutors presented sufficient (and in her words, possibly “overwhelming”) circumstantial evidence. She bound him over on three counts of open murder and three counts of tampering with evidence in the 2010 disappearances of his sons Andrew (9), Alexander (7), and Tanner (5).

The boys were last seen with John Skelton over Thanksgiving 2010 in Morenci, Michigan. Their remains have never been found; they were declared legally dead in March 2025. Skelton had already served a 10–15 year sentence after a 2011 no-contest plea to unlawful imprisonment. Murder charges were filed in November 2025 shortly before his scheduled prison release.

The judge stated she believes the boys are dead and that Skelton was responsible for their disappearance and deaths, while noting she does not know where they are or the exact circumstances. The defense emphasized the lack of bodies and physical evidence; that argument did not prevent the bind-over.

This is a probable-cause ruling only, not a finding of guilt. Skelton’s circuit-court arraignment was set for September 16, 2026. Let's keep an eye on it 🤩👏⚖️

💥 And now he has BEEN ARRESTED on an outstanding warrant from Alamosa County for failure to comply and is in the Boulder County Jail. He has an upcoming hearing about this incident on September 8th, 2026. His trial date is currently scheduled for July 19, 2027.

⚖️ Mario Fernandez Saldana was convicted of first-degree murder and solicitation to commit a capital felony on August 26th, 2026. He is scheduled to be sentenced on October 5th, 2026. And set to be arraigned on the new charges on September 17th. Shanna Gardner's has been postponed to May 2027; she will likely be on trial with Henry Tenon (joint trial).

Yolanda is scheduled to be sentenced on September 2nd, 2026, where she faces 36 years to life in prison. I hope it's life in prison because this is her SECOND m*rder! In 2000, she stabbed her then-husband, James Joseph Olejniczak, to death!
