How much do you charge for 1:1 coaching and what's included? I'll start:
I charge $5K/month for weekly coaching calls to build an income generating YouTube channel + asynchronous support + access to courses, resources and community
(I posted this question on threads and we got such a wonderful, open & transparent discussion going that I thought perhaps we could do that here as well 💜)
Happy Monday folks! I can't talk today due to a bad throat allergy but, hey, doesn't mean I cant work on scripts and ideas meanwhile. I'm scripting out the next 3 videos in my Creator Journey series and they're gonna be about my new scripting/recording method that I accidentally discovered which means I hardly ever have to do any re-takes.
Also, 8 million hunh. Just grateful to you all for watching, supporting and taking action. A large part of these views are actually coming from brands promoting my content right now but I'll take it because watch time is up as well.
In the last 24 hours I've received $7700 worth of Creator Partnership offers from YouTube.
Here's how to set your channel up for these deals. Make sure you're:
- speaking to one clear audience - attracting a buying audience - have videos that demonstrate what a brand deal on your channel looks like - have a high engagement rate (matters more than views) - do not have any community strikes/bans - turn on Channel Insights so that brands can see your channel metrics - generate your free Media Kit from YouTube
I'm filming a brand collab video for $3500 today on my youtube channel. Should I film the behind-the-scenes (bts) or making-of? What would you like to know most about the process of creating a sponsored video?
TIL that I have a condition called Helper's High. Definition incoming:
When people teach others, the brain releases dopamine and oxytocin, creating a literal "helper's high." On YouTube, this is often driven by reciprocal altruism: the creator learned how to do something by watching free videos, and they feel a psychological compulsion to "pay it forward" and contribute back to the ecosystem.
Do you also make videos cause you need to share what you know?
And if not, what's your motivation to be on video?
Commenting on competitor videos has to be one of the most under-utilized youtube strategy. When you do it well, so many people are gonna click on your username and come to check out your channel. And if they like what they see.... :)

There are 2 kinds of people making money with the AI revolution right now:
1. Those using it to create AI workflows, skills, apps, projects (and teaching it to others)
2. Those going deeper into what AI can't do: personal experiences, custom guidance, in-person events, physical products etc
Which way do you lean as the world shifts?
(Pic is from a road trip my husband and I are on currently - feels like an alien landscape around us!)

At 26 I thought I wanted to move back to New York City
At 36 I realized that living a slow life is what I actually wanted
At 46 I moved my family to gorgeous Madeira island in the Atlantic and now get to wake up to this view everyday and live SLOW and breathe deep
