We just spent 10 days in Johor Bahru in southern Malaysia and here’s our take:

JB is a really cool city with some fun things to do! We took a tour around Kota Jail (pic 1), explored the Heritage Street and even tried a child birth simulator 🤣

But JB is not a big city, and 10 days here is waaayyy too long. At best, we’d recommend 2 days at most.

The only other city we’ve spent this much time in Malaysia is Kuala Lumpur, and in all honesty, JB lacks a lot of the energy and action that we love about KL.

Either way, we fully recommend stopping in JB if you’re backpacking Southeast Asia - especially as we could count the amount of Western tourists we saw during those 10 days on one hand! It’s definitely off of the regular backpacker route 😅

AND we never had a bad meal… as you can see a lot of the pictures below are of food 😂

Anyway it’s finally time for us to move on to the next destination and we’re soooo excited!

WE ARE SO EXCITED!! 🤪🤪

In just a couple of hours our first vlog from our 20-month backpacking Asia series drops!

This is probably the most personal video we’ve ever filmed, taking you guys deep into our lives when we’re back visiting family.

From meeting our newest niece for the first time, shopping for backpacks with Sara’s mum, reminiscing next to a beautiful Swiss lake and getting slightly drunk with Sara’s fam… obvs 😂🥂

Then finishing with a look into how we prep and pack for such a long trip: what we’re taking, what we’re leaving behind, and how we fit all of our lives for the next 20 months into just a 60/70L backpack!

Sara and I are so excited to share this adventure with you, and we are so grateful if you’ve watched even just one of our videos before. Your support is what makes this possible, and we couldn’t think of a life any better suited for us than travelling the world and creating videos to share with our community’s entertainment 🥰

And just like that, 4 days in Singapore come to and end! 🇸🇬🎉

This was our second time visiting this country and we gotta say, we enjoyed it a lot more than last time we visited.

Yes it’s still hot and yes it’s still expensive, but we feel like we experienced a lot more character to Singapore this time around when you get outside of the bay and dive deeper into the city!

We filmed two full videos while we were here, and half a video on the day we arrived (you’ll see what we mean 🤣). We’re looking forward to sharing them soon!

In the meantime, we just crossed the border into Malaysia, where we’ll be travelling through for the next 2 to 3 months 🇲🇾🤯 First stop: Johor Bahru.

It’s official guys! 🤯

Today is the day we head off on our 20-month backpacking trip through Asia!

As of 9 days ago, neither of us officially has any freelance work anymore, and we are FULL-TIME YouTubers and content creators!

We’re en route to Singapore where we’ll be starting, and from there we’ll be working our way through as many Asian countries as we can before we head back to Europe.

The goal is to document the entire experience and post a YouTube video every 3 days… which if you don’t know, is A LOT 😅

We’re so excited to see this series come together. This is our third time in Asia, so we want to show you a ton of hidden and off-the-beaten-path spots, test some popular spots, meet the local and, of course, FOOOOD!

So stick around! We have one more Kosovo video coming in a few days, and then the Asia series begins! 🎬

Hey guys! Things are going to be a little different on this channel 😉

As we move into content full-time, the goal is to increase our posting rate here on YouTube! Originally we’d planned to speed up from September onwards, but I’m managing to edit a lil’ bit faster these days!

Hence why we just randomly dropped a Thursday video! (Go check it out 🥹)

Moving forward, we won’t only be posting videos on Saturday’s… because we’re actually planning to post a new travel vlog every 2 to 4 days!

So while there’ll no longer be a rigid upload schedule anymore, you can expect to see us a lot more on your screens as we stop travelling as digital nomads, and start travelling as travellers again for the first time in 8 years! 🤯

Sara and I are also aware that you guys probably don’t have the time to watch a 30+ min video from us 2 or 3 times a week. So after our Serbia and Kosovo series ends, the plan is to post more bite sized videos, between 10 and 20 mins instead!

On the odd occasion, some might end up a bit longer and some a bit shorter, but when we start travelling properly from September, we’re not just going to bring you destination guides and days out, we want to share with you the raw realities and honest truths of full-time travel in our 30’s… 🛩️

Think overnight buses, funky trains, adventuring in hidden areas of countries, seeking quieter spots in the big cities, scooter trips, cool hotels or Airbnb’s, restaurants, cafes, even things like figuring out SIM cards or having to find places to do laundry.

We want to share EVERYTHING we go through as we navigate life on the road again… slightly older than we were 8 years ago 🤣

Your support has always been something Sara and I are so grateful for, and we hope you’ll continue to watch through this new chapter of our channel!

Something really cool happened last week! 🤯

For the very first time, we were asked to come and speak at an event! We spoke on behalf of Kinetik (a brand we work with on Instagram) at Creator Fest in London 🇬🇧

Last Monday we hopped on a flight back to London (we didn’t expect to go back to the UK for 2 years 🤣) and on the Tuesday and Wednesday we attended Creator Fest in Greenwich, meeting up with old creator friends, making friends with new ones, and watching a ton of useful talks and workshops.

What a great couple of days! AND we managed to do our talk without getting stage fright 🤣

Sara and I always talk about how grateful we are to be able to live the life that we do. And it’s mostly thanks to you! People who watch our travels, enjoy our stories and support us along this journey 🥰

So THANK YOU! We’ll continue to post the best videos we can, and provide all the info and inspo you might need to plan your next trip ☺️

Good morning guys! We hope all of our American friends had a great day celebrating July 4th yesterday... and that the hangover isn't too bad today 😂

After a couple of months in the UK and Switzerland visiting family, we're back on the move again! 🛩️ This time we're heading to Serbia! 🇷🇸

I just wanted to highlight a couple of things you might have missed from us, starting with our group trip! In May 2027, we'll be taking a small group of people to travel through northern Vietnam for 7 days 🇻🇳

We'll explore Hanoi like locals, adventure through rice fields and mountains in Ninh Binh, and finish with a luxury cruise in the one of the proposed natural world wonders, Ha Long Bay!

Genuinely just imagine this for a second...

You're sat on a tiny plastic stool in Hanoi's Old Quarter, egg coffee in hand, bún chả sizzling in front of you... and you're doing it with a group of people who are just as obsessed with this stuff as you are 🇻🇳

Then the next day you're cycling through the rice fields in Ninh Binh together... these massive karst mountains just shooting up out of nowhere with paddies stretching out in every direction 🥹

And THEN you're spending the night on a luxury cruise ship drifting between the limestone cliffs of Ha Long Bay...

This is EXACTLY what we're doing! 👏

7 days in Vietnam, May 2027, a small group, and us right there with you the whole time.

We want everyone to actually know each other by day 2, not just be strangers on a bus lol.
