Welcome! We’re Kyle and Alannah, a Canadian couple travelling full time through North America in our self built Chevy Express van alongside our dog Diesel.
A few years ago, we stepped away from the conventional path to build a life rooted in freedom, curiosity, and the outdoors. Since then, we’ve travelled some of the continent’s most remote highways, wild coastlines, mountain ranges, deserts, and small towns while documenting both the beauty and reality of life on the road.
This channel is about chasing a different way of living. One built around freedom, curiosity, and experiences over routine. It’s about slowing down enough to appreciate where you are, taking the long way whenever possible, and learning that some of the best moments happen far away from comfort zones and carefully made plans. The road has challenged us, changed us, and shown us a version of life we never want to stop exploring.

In this week’s video, we take the short ferry ride from Newfoundland across the tickle to Bell Island. We explored the rugged coastlines, underground mines, shipwrecks and learned about unexplained mysteries that tell the story of an island unlike anywhere else.
