I am so sorry my channel has been so quiet all year. I did not intend to be off of here for as long as I have been. And I am not good with these kind of posts. So let me try and update you on what's going on with my YouTube stuff moving forward:

1. I have been very, very busy with my eCommerce job. I took on a managerial role towards the end of last year and moved to a different part of the company in the same role in the last few months. I like my job (especially having it work around the racing schedule) and must continue to focus a lot on this cause I want it to be at the top. I treat this like I do racing, and those who see my Twitter, you know how passionate I get.

- Working hard does take a lot out of you mentally and decided to put video making on the backburner for some time to focus on work. Nothing malicious or depressing, but making videos has not been important nor fun for me in quite some time. So, I went into a semi-retirement from February to now. When I made a similar post in 2019, I was burnt out, frustrated, and honestly jealous of how in my heyday, there was little fanfare compared to what the popular content makers receive. We didn't get the fun opportunities back then they have now, its a honest fact.

2. I'm going to try this one more time to see if I still want to make videos or retire for good. If I'm not enjoying it or not getting many views, I'll accept the fact I just wasn't good enough, keep my head up and end my time in making NASCAR YouTube content. Its not for a lack of effort, but if it doesn't work out, I can't say it wasn't the lack of trying. I've meet great people through this, even a few that work in the garage, and that is something I will always cherish.

3. I will be in Darlington & Carowinds with some of my friends from Thursday, Sept 2nd to Monday, Sept 6th! It will be my first time to the Lady in Black and attending my first Southern 500! I cannot WAIT for this trip! Will be documenting this trip, along with a playoffs promo and one other video TBD in early September.

4. I'm also going to branch out to another passion of mine that I may not say much on there. I've been a coaster enthusiast for years and it's time to take what I have learned here & place that to a separate channel! I will have a coaster content channel named StockCarsters! I know, the name is so original, but it combines my love for NASCAR & my passion for coasters. The first video for that channel will be getting my 100th credit at Knoebles, which that trip is the day after the Daytona cut off race!

Hello everyone.


Let me first apologize for the lack of any content in the last couple of months. I know there were some videos that I wanted to do along with requests that I wanted to finish but it did not happen. But I am here to let you know why.


So to put a long story short, its been a rough year on my end, professionally especially. Going through changing jobs, twice, takes its toll. Especially when you are out of work for two months and 1.5 months respectively. It made my take time away from this to bring any kind of funding to pay bills. YouTube simply, was placed on the backburner. Thankfully now I'm at a new job and like it there so far, so I believe the worst of that is behind now.


Along with worrying about job security is financial stress, car troubles, pointless drama and deaths in the family. A lot of things happened in a two month stretch over the summer that just took a lot out of me. Trying to be strong for a lot of people. Eventually I couldn't be strong anymore and I kinda just, shut down for a time. In the dumps. With no way out. I don't like talking about stuff like this publicly, but I just felt like no matter how hard I try things will not get better. I will say I never got to a point of thinking suicide, don't want anyone to take it that way. But I will admit, I haven't been in a good place but now I'm getting out of that mindset.


Which leads me to YouTube. During the two months (and honestly the last 6 months in general), I completely lost interest in making videos. When you do this for over 10 years and the best I can get is someone who does social media for a certain network that covers NASCAR basically crap on you, while others can come out of nowhere and be super successful and get amazing opportunities in the sport, it took the heart out of it for me. In a way, it felt like a slap in the face. You do all of these promos and make other content, and for what? 150 views? Like its a waste of my time. I know I'm not the best at what I do but, damn. That was my mindset for a while and I know its not right. But when things around you aren't working out, things like that seep into your train of thought.


I'm not making these to become super famous or anything like that. I do this cause I love this sport with every fiber of my being and I want others to enjoy this sport with me. But I felt so discouraged that it was like, what is the point? No one watches my crap, first question most people ask is if I'm in a fandom that I have no interest being in, and just taken as a joke. I know that isn't the truth cause I've had some great people in the racing community let me know how much I'm appreciated with the videos I've made and trust me, it was something I needed to hear.


So the long winded message boils down to this. I'm ready to make videos again. And honestly, even if only 10 people enjoy what I do, its 10 people that I feel like I bring 3-5 minutes of joy in a long week. That's enough to keep me going. I want to make people happy. Cause it makes me happy. My god this sounds like that Cheese Sandwich MLP episode. But I'm serious!


I'm gonna work on a promo for the championship race and actually deliver this time. Along with a couple other fun videos. Make videos that I know folks have been waiting on. And of course the season long music videos. I know life can be tough sometimes and who knows what I face moving forward, but we all need that avenue away from stress. NASCAR and video editing is my avenue and its time to get back in the game. Through hell or high water.


To everyone that has supported me over the years, words cannot describe how much you mean to me and I love you! Its time to make up lost time and make so much back up to you.
