DAY 1: God Is Still Near

Some days God feels close. Other days, life gets loud and we wonder if He moved.
He didn’t.
Psalm 34:18 says, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
Nearness is not always a feeling. Sometimes it is a promise you hold onto when your emotions are tired.
Today, breathe this in: God is not waiting for you to get strong before He comes close. He comes close because you need Him.
Prayer: Lord, remind me today that You are near, even when I cannot feel it.

We live in a rushed world, but God forms us in lingering.

Do not hurry past the place that is healing you.

Prayer: Lord, teach me to dwell, not just visit.

When God forgives, He does not keep rehearsing what He redeemed.
