I have recently returned from the US, and while I was there, I had the opportunity to visit the Carlstadt Police Department in New Jersey to photograph their specialist Aggressive Driving Unit — a 5.0-litre V8 Ford Mustang.
The unit plays an important role in targeting aggressive driving, street racing and other dangerous driving behaviours, while also supporting the department’s broader roadway safety initiatives.
Carlstadt Police frequently conduct specialised enforcement details targeting reckless driving, illegal car meets and drag racing, particularly around the east end of town. These operations have resulted in hundreds of summonses being issued and numerous vehicles being impounded.
The Mustang is a one-of-a-kind vehicle for the department, finished in Carlstadt Police’s striking blue livery, and certainly stands out on the road.
A huge thank you to Chief Cox for arranging the visit, Lieutenant Stronziger for taking the time to show me around the department, and Sergeant Ross for setting up the Mustang and allowing me the opportunity to photograph it.
It was a fantastic experience to see this unique police vehicle up close and learn more about the work the Carlstadt Police Department does in keeping its community and roadways safe.
New Scania Rescue Appliances for NSW Ambulance to start replacing their aged rescue trucks spread around the state. This truck Rescue 22 will be off to Tamworth once training is completed.
Something very rare coming this afternoon at 3pm for our 150th Video. NSW Police Gang Unit (SF Raptor) responding in their unmarked BMW X5 with new light fit out.
You may have noticed a new name and logo. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we’ve moved on from our previous branding. We’re excited to introduce SignalX - Emergency Photography & Responses, a name that better reflects our work and unifies our presence across Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok.
