Honestly, writing indie rock songs isn’t that complicated. All you really need is an electric guitar, a computer, and the will to create. That’s right — you don’t need deep knowledge of music theory to write a solid indie rock track.

In this video, I walk you through the full process of creating an indie/alternative rock song from scratch — step by step. I start with the intro, build into the verse, and wrap it up with the chorus.
