and idk why but… I thought this moment would feel different.

I genuinely thought maybe someone would make a little post for me, write me a long paragraph, make an edit, or just do something that made me feel like “oh… they actually noticed.”

because when it’s someone else’s achievement, I’m always there.
I write paragraphs.
I make posts.
I remember little things.
I try to make people feel special, even if it takes me hours.

but when it was finally my turn…
it was just—

“congratulations!!”
“congrats!!”
“50 subs!!”

and then… nothing.

maybe I expected too much.
maybe I care too much.
maybe I just give people the kind of effort I secretly wish someone would give me.

I’m not even mad.
I’m just… hurt.

because somewhere in my head I kept thinking,
“someone will surprise me.”
“someone will make something for me.”
“someone will actually notice how much this means to me.”

but nobody did.

I’m always the person writing the long paragraphs…
so maybe I just wanted to know what it feels like to receive one.

Sometimes I genuinely wonder—

am I someone people truly care about, or just someone they remember when they need me?

maybe I’m just an option.
maybe I was expecting the same energy I give.

and honestly… that realization hurts.
