Fins & Whiskers
Welcome!! My name is Shine and I run this channel from my passion to give voice to the unvoiced in which they deserve and need for us to hear. My main focus is on gerbils, but I also make videos on fish and rabbits. I am also an Otocinclus breeder with the first introduced guide on YouTube to breed them consistently. ♡

Working on a Q&A vid! Ask me anything related to my channel, gerbils, rabbits etc and I’ll answer them in a video!

Yesterday we had to say goodbye to Beanie. My heart feels emptier and the world seems smaller, but I know that she is finally reunited with her sisters. In some way I feel like, being the leader she was, she wanted to make sure we would be okay before joining Lemon and Almond. I will be making a video with some information I learned at the vet. For now, I will say see you later Beanie, Lemon, and Almond. Thank you for showing us your amazing lives, thank you for helping us understand all you deserve. An inseparable trio, heroes, and friends of all. I am going to miss them so damn much.

I won't be starting the year off with a bang but I do plan to have a new video next weekend! I am excited to return, but most importantly, I want to focus on being ready and capable to bring you all great content.

I have been feeling a bit disconnected lately, but I also miss making content for you all. I really want to continue and improve pet care further into the world, and I miss your voices as well! If there is anything you need help with and would love to see a video for, please comment below! The only thing I won’t be doing anytime soon is reacting to cages.

I know I’ve not posted a video in ages but I promise I do plan on returning. I’ve been taking a mental health break so I can make the best content possible. In the mean time I’ve been crocheting amigurumis like this lovely rabbit! He needs a name, once I finish sewing him up :)
