Hi, I’m Rishi. I started Easy Peasy Finance at age 8, because teen and beginner-focused finance content basically didn’t exist.
8 years later, Easy Peasy Finance has reached millions of learners across 193 countries through 1,200+ videos. I have never accepted any sponsorships, so the concepts and strategies I share are what I truly believe in.
In March 2026, when I was 16, I passed the CFP® exam - the gold standard in financial planning. I’m believed to be the youngest person ever to do so (the average passing age is 37). So every video is built on real financial planning knowledge.
Here, you’ll find: Personal finance concepts explained in under 3 minutes, investing basics for beginners, simple strategies for building real wealth, and money traps most people fall into (and how to avoid them). All with no jargon or filler.

Sometimes, the most meaningful recognition comes from someone simply taking the time to listen.
A few weeks ago, @financialadvisormag (Financial Advisor Magazine) senior writer Jennifer Reed came across one of my posts and reached out.
We ended up talking for almost an hour. Last week, I got to read the article she wrote about my journey.
And honestly, I’m still processing her words.
She described Easy Peasy Finance’s reach across 193 countries as “a bigger, more geographically improbable audience than most advisory firms will reach in a career.”
And she described passing the CFP® exam as “validation of an operation he'd already been running, largely on his own credibility, since elementary school.”
Those words mean so much!
There is something incredibly meaningful about having someone else look at your life, connect moments that happened years apart, and show you the larger story that you don't always see when you're living it week by week.
From making three-minute animated videos about money at age 8 to building Easy Peasy Finance and eventually passing the CFP® exam at 16, it has been quite a journey.
Jenny, thank you for listening with such genuine interest and for telling my story with so much care.
I’m incredibly grateful our paths crossed.

Infographic: Roth vs Traditional IRA for Beginners
When people compare a Roth IRA and Traditional IRA, they often focus on one thing: “Which one gives me the bigger tax break?”
But that’s only part of the story. The account you choose can affect your taxes today, your retirement income, and even how much of your Social Security may be taxable later.
Here’s an infographic explaining the key differences between Roth and Traditional IRAs, including a few factors that are easy to miss.
If you’re a young investor, planning for retirement, or trying to understand IRAs, this is a good place to start.

What could $150 a month become over several decades? The answer is a great illustration of why compound interest is such a powerful concept in personal finance.
But there’s more to compounding than watching an investment balance grow. Time, contributions, returns, and even debt can all interact in ways that many people don't fully appreciate.
In this infographic, I cover some of the most important things beginners should understand about compounding. If you're just getting started with investing, this is one concept worth understanding early.
