Rater HQ: After Dark

Turbovets blind first impressions from 09/26/2026 from my live stream. BLUF - I'm neutral, but the website is the biggest swing and a miss I think I've ever seen. The website is very bad at the moment - it didn't overtly tell me what the product is OR what it does to make me want to use whatever their program.

Based upon the structure of the website I could not find a reason to sign up and actually try the product. Not being negative, just a candid reaction. I hope they fix it and I will come back and review the product. Many people in my chat said the website looks like a scam or vaporware.

Why you might ask?

1. Less Pew Pew sizzle images please - Turbovets' websit looks like it's trying to sell Call of Duty 11 to Combat Veterans only and NOT trying to educate veterans as to what their product is, what it does, and why anyone should use it.

2. The majority of the website is name-dropping Veterans who I've never heard of as a Veteran myself and frankly they forgot to tell me why I should research who these people are and why they are "important". Now couple this with the fact that they didn't even explain what their product is on all of this digital real-estate and now I have people who I don't know trying to sell me something I don't understand what it is.

3. In the FAQ section of their website they discuss a lot of very bizarre things like they have spent a lot of time discussing things that seem like they're not as important as explaining your product to potential consumers.

Example 1- they talk at great length about why whatever this thing is it's free. Real talk - Nobody cares if something is free, they care if it's good.

The Veteran community as a whole has a lot of issues trusting free things from a competence standpoint and it is why non-accredited claims companies even exist. If turbovets wants people to even think about using this product, they need to do a 180 and focus on the product and why it does what they say it does, well.

Hurts to type this on my phone.

Summary- Total website overhaul. If you build a good product they will come. Tailor it for all Veterans. Less battle Chad and more focus on here is what it is and what it does (provide actual examples of what it does shown on the website)

Hey all,

Just a PSA to remind you to be wary about promises of blind outcomes of increases to your VA disability rating for new VASRD changes before the changes are even implemented and without the m21-1 guidance.

If you get a proposal to reduce based off these assurances, they will not be there to make it right and fight the proposed adverse action.

Best to wait until things are implemented and staff learn the process and then see if the future changes are advantageous to you.
