On October 20, Shen Yue shared a little glimpse of her playful personality while replying to fans on Weibo.

One fan posted a picture of a birthday cake and asked her to blow out the candle. 🎂

And Shen Yue actually played along, replying, “Phew~!” 😂

But another interaction made me laugh even more!

A fan commented that the older people get, the more they enjoy photographing flowers, plants, and trees. 🌸🌳

Shen Yue replied that she still loves climbing mountains and drinking millet porridge! 🤭

Then another fan asked whether she’d dyed her hair black again.

Her response? Apparently, she’d been so excited that she rushed out and forgot to collect her takeaway after getting her hair done! 😂

I love these little interactions because they’re so spontaneous. You never quite know what Shen Yue is going to say next!

A dress called “Flowers from the Ashes.” What a beautiful way to celebrate ten years. 🥹❤️

For Shen Yue’s tenth anniversary in the entertainment industry, a designer created a special dress called Flowers from the Ashes, describing it as a gift celebrating her ten years and new beginnings.

And looking at these photographs, I can understand why the designer compared her to a phoenix rising or a flower blooming in a fantasy world.

The dark fabric, the deep red details spreading across the ground, and the dramatic landscape create such a beautiful image.

But what I love most is the thought behind the gift.

Ten years in entertainment means ten years of learning, growing, experiencing beautiful moments, and overcoming challenges that audiences may never fully see.

And I think there’s something touching about celebrating that journey with a creation that represents renewal and new beginnings.

Today, as Mooncakes around the world come together to celebrate your 10th debut anniversary, I can’t help but think about how much can happen in ten years.

Ten years ago, you were a young woman taking your first steps into an industry where nothing was guaranteed. You couldn’t have known how far your journey would take you, how many people would come to love you, or how much happiness your presence would bring into their lives.

And look at you today. ❤️

We’ve watched you grow, take on new challenges, explore different characters, and gradually become the woman and actress you are today.

But beyond the dramas, the beautiful photographs, the endorsements, and the achievements, there’s something else that makes this anniversary meaningful.

It’s the connection you’ve built with people you’ve never even met.

Somewhere in the world, someone discovered you through a drama and found a reason to smile. Someone found comfort in your laughter. Someone became curious about Chinese entertainment because of you. And somewhere, people who speak completely different languages became friends simply because they share the same love for you.

I think that’s a beautiful thing.

Nine years of Shen Yue and Mooncakes. 🥹🌙❤️

Today, October 4, marks nine years since Shen Yue’s official fan support club was established.

And when you really think about what nine years represents, it’s quite beautiful.

This goes all the way back to 2017, around the beginning of the journey that many of us would eventually come to know. Since then, Shen Yue’s career has taken her through dramas, variety shows, brand campaigns, different stages and now even her first Milan Fashion Week.

So much has changed.

But Mooncakes are still here.

And I especially love that Shen Yue herself remembered the anniversary and sent a greeting to fans. ❤️

Some Mooncakes have been beside her for years. Others discovered her through Meteor Garden, another drama, a variety show, or perhaps only recently. International fans have joined from so many different countries along the way too.

We may not all have arrived at the same time, but somehow we ended up here together.

Shen Yue finally took us along on her Milan trip! 🇮🇹📸❤️

After seeing all those polished pictures from Milan Fashion Week, I loved getting something that felt much more like Shen Yue experiencing Italy through her own eyes.

Her Milan vlog takes us from the beautiful scenery around Lake Como to the excitement of Fashion Week, the architecture she noticed along the way, and eventually Verona.

And somehow, in the middle of all that beauty, Shen Yue was still being Shen Yue. 😂

At one point she started wondering whether standing inside a display would make someone look more sophisticated — and then wished she could simply grow another 20cm and become 1.8 metres tall. 😭😂

I also love that she continues to document these experiences with her camera. We usually see the finished celebrity photographs from trips like this, but it’s nice seeing some of the things she found interesting enough to stop and look at.

It feels like we got to see a little more of the trip beyond Fashion Week. ❤️
