Hi! I’m Molly! 😄
I react to music, sharing my honest impressions and emotions. I react to any genre, including rock, metal, hip-hop, and beyond. If it moves you, I'm listening.🎵
What started out as a journey to watch music videos from my youth (I grew up in the 80s/90s, but didn’t have MTV…) has transformed (with your help!) into discovering new tracks.👏
Thanks for joining me on this ride.🫶

PS. A bit about me...
🤩 I’m a Xennial, a micro-generation of Gen X. I had an analog childhood and a digital adulthood.
🎶 I love music but got stuck listening to the same jams year after year. (Mostly Pearl Jam, Phil Collins, Adele, Tracy Chapman, U2, and Gregorian chant).

Today marks 30 years since we lost Tupac. 💔🕊️ Where were you when you heard the news?
It was my first semester in college, and my new friend Sam told me. I didn’t know much about Tupac other than the fact that he was a rapper. Sam was devastated, and I felt so bad. It reminded me of how I felt when I learned that Kurt Cobain was gone. 😭
I’m now finally discovering Tupac’s music and recently listened to “So Many Tears” for the first time. Wow, what an incredible song! I’ve only heard a few of his songs so far, but I can already understand why his legacy has lasted this long.
I also recently learned that, after 30 years, justice has finally been served with a conviction in his murder.
RIP, Tupac. ❤️

One of my favorite authors/poets passed away today. I know this is a music channel, but so much of music is poetry set in motion. RIP Wendell Berry. ❤️🕊️
