Creator Academy education centres teach a range of courses designed to build STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics), multimedia and communication skills for children of all ages and skill levels.
This week, we celebrated a major milestone with the launch of Australia’s first-ever RECF Robotics Tournament, hosted at James Ruse Agricultural High School!
More than 60 students took part across the RECF Engage and RECF Achieve competitions.
🤝 RECF Engage challenges younger students to collaborate in teamwork matches, combining their robots and strategies to achieve the highest possible score.
⚡ RECF Achieve brings a fast-paced 2v2 robotics competition for older students, where alliances go head-to-head in exciting matches requiring strategy, engineering and teamwork.
We were also thrilled to welcome our newest sponsor, Modern Teaching Aids (@ModernTeachingAids ), who joined us at the event to demonstrate drones ahead of the upcoming RECF Aerial Drone Competitions in Australia. 🚁
A huge thank you to all the volunteers, coaches, teachers and parents who helped make this historic event possible.
This is only the beginning. We’re looking forward to an outstanding season of robotics competition, learning and innovation across Australia! 🇦🇺🏆🤖
The Australian RECF National Championship has a date and venue! We are proud to announce that this year we are holding the championships at North Sydney Boys High School on 30th-31st of January 2027! Register your team at www.recfevents.org

Today we celebrate Moon Landing (Apollo 11 launch (1969))! Knowing that Earth's gravity acceleration is 9.8 metres per second per second, write a program that takes the gravity acceleration of the Moon in metres per second per second, then outputs 'Weak' if it is less than 9.8, 'Same' if it is equal to 9.8 and 'Strong' if it is more than 9.8. Complete today's challenge on www.CodingDrills.au
The stage is set for the @vexrobotics VEX IQ World Championships here in St.Louis, Missouri USA!
As the best robotics teams gather from across the globe, one team stands out: 5876A Abbotsleigh Junior.
Representing the only all-girl Australian team in the tournament, their presence is all the more remarkable because this is their first ever VEX Robotics competition.
Qualifying for 'Worlds' represents countless hours learning new skills, training with unfamiliar equipment and building resilience through competition.
We are so proud of our girls, to us they are already winners.
After three days of intense competition, 63331A Ryde Secondary College delivered a strong performance, finishing with 6 wins and 4 losses and securing a place in the 14th alliance.
The public school team impressed the highly ranked 1677X from Zhejiang, forming an alliance with the Chinese team before concluding their run in the Round of 16.
Capping off an outstanding campaign, the team was awarded the Inspire Award—one of the most prestigious judged honours in VEX Robotics Competition. This award recognises teams that embody the spirit of VEX through passion, positivity, and exceptional teamwork, celebrating those who demonstrate outstanding character, professionalism, and community impact.
Creator Academy is proud to have coached Ryde Secondary College this season and looks forward to an exciting and promising future for the team.
See you all at VEX Worlds in St. Louis! This year I am accompanying 4 teams across High School, Moddle School and Elementary School divisions to celebrate the end of another great season! Good luck to all the talented students of 21111A, 21111B, 63331A and 5876A, I am proud to have been part of your Worlds journey! If you find me in my floppy hat, be sure to say 'G'Day!' @RECFoundation@vexrobotics@VEXRoboticsAustralia
