Hi, I'm Lauren. I've always been the person who needs to understand the facts in the order they happened before I form an opinion.

True crime pulled me in for that exact reason. Cases are built from scattered facts pulled together to form a timeline used to argue for a verdict. I love digging into the actual court records to find those facts myself, not just what's being reported about them. Every episode is sourced from live trial coverage or official court documents.

Join me here daily for active trial coverage, where we lay out the facts as they unfold.

I chose the name Porchlight Murders because my intent is never to idolize those accused, but instead to always honor the victims. Our porchlight will always be on in remembrance of those who never made it home.
