Hello folks! Welcome to this brand new channel as of February 2026.
My name’s Michael, but everyone calls me Mikey, and this channel is all about urban exploring across Scotland.
For anyone new to urbex it’s basically exploring abandoned and forgotten places, and ALBA is Scottish Gaelic for Scotland.
I’ll be uploading a brand-new video every Saturday, with the rest of the week spent filming, editing, and hunting down some proper hidden places.
I won’t be exploring totally alone my partner will be coming along with me but she’s staying off camera, so you’ll just have to put up with my ugly mug instead.
I’ll be cutting everything down to the best parts of the explore, keeping things interesting, but still showing the full story of each location.
If you’re into abandoned buildings, forgotten history, and seeing places most people never get to, you’re in the right place.
So if that sounds like your thing, hit subscribe, and I’ll see you in the first explore.

What are the chances! Popped into Tesco the other day and bumped into the lads from Hell on Earth filming their latest Scottish video. They were kind enough to stop for a quick photo despite being in the middle of filming. Absolute gents. Looking forward to seeing the finished video! @upthehoe

This is honestly mind blowing 🤯 and I never thought I’d be making a post about this anytime soon but here I am! The channel has jumped up over 100 subscribers over the weekend and it’s honestly overwhelming. Thank you to each and every one of you for your support it honestly means a lot. I created this channel myself but the people who join me on these explores are what helps the channel too, it’s not just me we are a team! so from all of us thank you so much ☺️ Team UrbexALBA 🏴
