Hey it's Bre, or BumbleBre, welcome to my Hive. After decades as an enthusiastic, and wide-eyed investigator of anomalous phenomenon, and zoological mysteries I've decided to step into the ring and parse the real from the woo. What started as a short video de-mythicizing the so called "Murder Hornet Invasion" in May of 2020 has grown into library of videos and posts applying an open mind and skeptical lens to cryptozoology, parapsychology, ufology and much more. Charlatans, woo peddlers, and hoaxers have dominated these fields for far, far too long.

The guy posted it on Instagram - He had The creeper glasses on and I did not know he was recording me - www.instagram.com/p/DeLAWrhRryK/

I work as a canvasser in here in the city, I have been doing it for months now, and it'd been great people are mostly super friendly. However I was out handing out election Amendment information. Then this guy approached me and asked what I was doing in his neighborhood. Keep in mind I wearing a brightly colored "Vote 4 Change" t-shirt and holding a bundle of "Vote 4Change" fliers. I explained the campaign info, he said he wasn’t interested, and I moved on. I was confused by his aggression but thanked him for his time.
But he followed me. He kept calling me “brother” and “my man,” making it clear that he had clocked me as a trans woman and was actively trying to degrade me. He asked my name, I told him Bre, as we generally introduce ourselves when we engage with voters. His response was, “What’s your real name?” Now Bre is my real legal name, so I repeated it and explained what I was doing once again with the canvassing.
He tried to tell me I couldn’t approach neighboring houses, claimed the residents didn’t want to speak with me, and I should leave because they didn't want me in their neighborhood. I continued on my way and stood watching while I knocked on doors. The neighbors I actually spoke with were polite—one accepted a flier, another asked about polling places, just general nice good natured people. The whole time this guy is following and telling me to move on in a threatening tone. When I made it clear that I was working and was not going to leave he walked back to his house.
Then, as I was finishing that part of my route, he pulled up in front of me in his car, with a small child in the passenger seat. He shouted my name, called me “bro” again, and said, “Call me old fashioned, but I don’t want women with peckers here.”
I kept walking and held myself together until I reached the next block. Then I started sobbing. I called my girlfriend and my supervisor because I no longer felt safe. My supervisor came and picked me up.
I’m safe now, and my supervisors are supporting me in making a report to local law enforcement. But I’m still shaken. It wasn’t just the words—it was being followed on foot, watched, and then approached again in a car. I didn’t know whether he would keep following me or what he might do next. I am so scared to go back out, this is my job, how I support myself.
I honestly wish I had thought to turn on my camera. I know I should have to defend my name, my identity, or my presence in a neighborhood to a random stranger, but the whole event was humiliating. Being clocked by a hater in the wild was terrifying
