I've made my best video.

I'm releasing my Three Kings analysis this Friday. It's a movie set around the Gulf War, a war that my family and I lived through. As a Kuwaiti, I wanted to go deep on this movie using my experiences and knowledge.

Something amazing happened while I was working on it.

β€ͺ@thekandarichronicles‬ reached out to me. He's a creator who makes videos about Arabs, the Arab experience and the Arab world. He's also Kuwaiti. I asked him to collaborate on the Three Kings video with me and he said yes!

We spent a month working on this. We're breaking down everything the movie gets right and wrong, with deep dives into the Gulf War, Kuwait, Iraq, geopolitics, American imperialism, Iraqi soldiers and civilians, and Kuwaiti experiences including our own personal stories.

This is the Three Kings video the internet has never seen before. I'm very excited for you to see it.

I want to thank everyone who's recently joined my YouTube Membership. Usually, only Habibi Members and up get access to watch my videos early. But for this video, I'm releasing it today to watch for all my members. Become a Rafeejy Member and watch it right now. It goes public for everyone on Friday.

What do you think it'll rank on the Habibi Movie Tier List and why?

πŸ“’ I need your help!

I watched Sex and the City 2. The one where they go to β€œAbu Dhabi.” I’m making a video about it. But I’m not exactly the target demo for this movie (or sex lol).

I want to highlight women’s voices. What do you think of the movie, its portrayal of Arab culture, or the way it treats its female characters in an Arab setting?

You'll be credited If I include your thoughts in the video. 😁

Thank you! πŸ’—

I was on a Podcast! 😁
Isaac and Chris from one of my favorite YouTube channels overzealots invited me on their show! I talk about how orientalism, both past and present, jumps from negative portrayals in media into the way people think today.

We also talk about my me and my content. We share laughs and have a great time. I'm so happy they found my channel, and I'm honored they had me on. It's all thanks to everyone who subscribes and believes in me. Thank you! πŸ’—

Give it a watch!

Which countries have caused the most death, destruction, pain and suffering in the last fifty years? Arab or Muslim-majority countries? Nope. Most have lived in relative peace. People build families, have thriving careers and enjoy good lives.
Now compare that to extremists in America and Israel. Decades of wars. Bombings. Bloodshed. Why? Because some believe their idea of God gives them the right. Either to control resources or peoples' minds.
But turn on a movie or TV show and you'd think it's the East that's violent. The East that's barbaric. The East that's the threat.
Look at the facts. Look at the data. Look at the numbers. They don't lie. Propagandists do.

It's all thanks to you. I'm honored that so many of you believe in me and the content I create. My goal is to educate, help people understand and open the avenue of learning about the Arab people. Thank you so much! πŸ’–

Please tell me your favorite Arab fact, detail or word you've learned from one of my videos. I'll randomly choose one person and send them a $150 Amazon US gift card on 6 July 2026. 😁

I'm hard at work! Tomorrow I'm uploading my The Mummy 1999 video. And I'm working on the script for You Don't Mess With The Zohan (2008). It's at 25 pages so far. I want to explain A LOT of what's happening in the movie so people get how nefarious it really is.

Comment of the week comes from β€ͺ@prismpyre7653‬

I love how Prism connects this to media! A movie called Red Dawn. It's a great reminder that history repeats itself. The "enemy" changes with the times. One generation is taught to fear Chinese immigrants. Another fears Jews or Eastern Europeans. Then it's communists. Later it's Arabs or Muslims. The faces change but the pattern remains.
That's why we have to be cautious. Whenever someone tells us that one entire group of people is the problem, it's worth asking: Who benefits from this story? What's their goal? Are they informing us? Or trying to make us afraid? Curiosity destroys propaganda. Learn your history. Question narratives. Look for evidence. Don't take stereotypes at face value. Especially when people are using them to influence you.

Thanks, Prism. Comments like this are exactly why I love this community. 😍

πŸ’“ Comment of the week!
β€ͺ@kyay10‬ joins in on the True Lies video to help with the Arabic parts of the movie. That's one of the things I love about the people who watch my channel. They're willing to jump in, share their knowledge and take time out of their day to help all of us learn. They also help keep me honest and make sure I get things right, which I really appreciate. This channel is at its best when there's open conversation. Arabic is a diverse and beautiful language. It's shaped by countless cultures, histories and voices. Every time someone shares a piece of that knowledge, we all come away understanding each other a little better. Including me!
But he also shares a hilarious idea. What if the True Lies translators were in on it! They knew it was going to disparage Arabs, so they purposefully messed things up? 🀣 I want to believe that so badly.

I'm working on a video about The Mummy (1999)!
What do you think of this movie in terms of Arab representation? Any scenes stand out to you as positive? Negative? Have any strong opinions about it?
If I share any of your ideas in the video, I'll be sure to give you a shoutout and credit on screen. 😁
