Hey all!

The Anbernic RG 55G1 has gone on sale today.

This device is an interesting one. It has a 5.5" 16:9 display and is powered by the Snapdragon G1 Gen 2 processor.

This is different from the usual Dimensity processors we usually get from Anbernic. It won't be as powerful as a Retroid Pocket 6, but it's also cheaper with a $140 starting price.

You can save $10 if you order in the next three days if this is a handheld you are interested in.

My review sample hasn't arrived yet, but I'll have a review up on the channel when it does.

Hey all!

I received a couple of questions since my Nova review was published regarding the ribbon cable that accidentally came loose and disabled my joysticks.

I've attached a picture here. The cable is hard to see if you are looking straight down at the device, but once I angled it, the culprit was right there.

If you are daring enough to attempt a button swap, please keep this in mind.

Nefarious is going to be very happy my retail unit is fixed because I promised this Nova to him. The channel can't afford to pay him for his skit-writing efforts and part-time host, so I try to pay him in handhelds when I can.

Hey all!

I've had a couple of unfortunate setbacks with my current channel content that I feel I need to share with you.

Two weeks ago, I plugged in the MSI Claw A8 into a charger I have at work, and the device suddenly stopped working. I found it odd, thought it was a one-off issue, and sent it back to MSI for repair. It will be sent back to me when it's done, but it unfortunately delayed that particular video.

I shrugged it off and moved on to my next device, the Mangmi Pocket Max. My script and skit with Nefarious are done, and I was doing some final testing before recording footage and publishing. When the battery got low, I plugged it into the same charger, an ASUS brand one.

Now my retail Mangmi Pocket Max won't turn on, but my brain has, finally realizing that the charger is either faulty, or pushing too much voltage.

I've reached out to Mangmi customer service and hopefully I can manage a replacement, but that's another video delayed.

I'm on to the next video, but it'll take some time for me to get it out while I wait for replacement units to come in. I may do a couple of shorts in the meantime.

Yes this is entirely my fault, and I should know about chargers better if I'm to continue to maintain a tech and video gaming channel.

I will get more content out as soon as I'm able, and you'll see me and Nefarious collaborate with my fellow YouTubers more this year as well.

I wholeheartedly apologize for the delay and in the words of my newest favorite protagonist, Ichiban Kazuga, "WE'RE VERY SORRY!"
