Religions for Peace South Africa
Different faiths. Shared humanity. One hope for peace. 🕊️🌍
In celebration of the International Day of Peace, Religions for Peace South Africa gathered in uMhlanga for an Interfaith Peace Walk & Prayer — bringing together people across faiths, cultures and generations.
These moments remind us that peace is also built in the simple act of coming together: meeting one another, walking side by side, listening, sharing and recognising our common humanity.
Along our journey, representatives of different faith traditions offered prayers for peace — different voices and traditions, united by a shared hope for our world.
Our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who walked, prayed and shared this beautiful day with us.
May we continue to choose unity over division, compassion over indifference, and peace over conflict. ❤️🕊️
