Juni - life in Germany

Cozy everyday life in Germany 🇩🇪 | homemade food, local traditions, shopping & creative living ✨

Hey, welcome✨ I’m a Korean-American mom who has been living in Germany for the past 7 years. Through this channel, I love sharing the beauty of everyday life and discovering Germany one cozy moment at a time. 🇩🇪💛

Together we'll discover Germany through:
🍞 Homemade food, baking, & Kaffee und Kuchen
🌿 Nature, charming towns, & seasonal adventures
🛍️ Everyday shopping, local finds, & German life
🧶 Handmade projects & creative living

I believe some of life's most meaningful moments are often the simplest—from baking fresh bread and picking strawberries to exploring a new town or creating something by hand.

🌸 Why "Juni Germany"?
Juni means June in German—the month I began this creative journey by uploading my very first video on June 1st. It reminds me that every new beginning starts with a single step.

Thank you for being here.

Come discover Germany with me through cozy everyday life. ✨

Juni - life in Germany

The first little signs of autumn are starting to appear here in Germany. 🍂🇩🇪

The mornings feel cooler, more yellow and orange leaves are showing up, and our walks are suddenly ending with pockets full of Kastanien and acorns. 🤎 We even found a few apples ready to pick nearby.

I’ve been filming these small seasonal changes as they happen, along with a warm pumpkin soup once we got home.

A new autumn video is coming this Sunday. 🍁

New video today! 🇳🇱🌊

We left Germany for a little weekend in the Netherlands — and this trip ended up being all about the coast.

We spent time by the sea, wandered through a market in Yerseke, squeezed in one last beach visit, and then changed our plans when the rain sent us toward Eindhoven for lunch and a little indoor exploring.

It wasn’t quite the weekend we expected, but I think that made some of the moments even more memorable. 🤍

The new video is up now!

Would you choose a weekend by the sea 🌊 or a city weekend 🏙️?

Juni - life in Germany

A little change of scenery is coming this Sunday. 🇳🇱🌊

We took a short trip from Germany to the Netherlands and ended up spending much more time by the sea than we originally planned.

There were windy beach days, waves and seagulls, a street market we happened to find in Yerseke, and a rainy change of plans that eventually brought us to Eindhoven.

I’m editing all those little moments together now. 🤍

New video today! 🛍️✨

I finally took you along to Søstrene Grene here in Germany — one of those stores where I always end up finding something I wasn’t looking for. 😅

There was so much to browse, from home décor and creative supplies to kitchen finds and lots of little things in between.

As someone who grew up in the US, this is definitely one of those stores I wish we had back home. 🤍

What section would you head to first — home, crafts, or kitchen?

Today’s video is up! 🪵🎁

I’m making a wood-burned cutting board for my sister-in-law’s birthday — from sketching the design and learning the pyrography process to finishing and wrapping the gift.

There’s something really special about starting with something simple and slowly turning it into a gift made specifically for one person. 🤍

Come spend a cozy crafting day with me in Germany. 🇩🇪

This week’s video is a little different — I’m making a birthday gift completely by hand. 🪵🤍

I wanted to create something for my sister-in-law that she couldn’t simply buy, so I tried wood burning and turned a simple cutting board into something much more personal.

I’m excited to share the whole process this Sunday. ✨

Come spend a cozy summer day with me — repotting indoor plants, visiting friends for Korean BBQ, wandering through summer gardens, and ending the evening with a little crochet. 🥢🧶

It’s one of those videos that’s really just about everyday life and the small moments I wanted to remember.

Watch now and spend part of the day with us. 🤍

A little summer day in Germany is coming on Sunday 🌿🇩🇪

Nothing specifically planned — just repotting some plants, spending time with friends, good food, gardens, and a quiet project waiting for me at home.

Sometimes those ordinary days end up being the ones I’m happiest to remember. 🤍

What does a perfect simple summer day look like for you?

Today’s video is up! 🍝🇩🇪

I’m sharing my German mother-in-law’s Bolognese recipe and the three different ways our family eats it — classic spaghetti, lasagna, and over rice. It’s one of those recipes that started in one part of the family and slowly became part of our own traditions too. 🤍

And yes… I eat my spaghetti with chopsticks lol 😂🥢

Which version would you try first — spaghetti, lasagna, or rice?
