It’s hard to believe we’re married 33 years today!! 🚢🥂💍

I often joke that cruising together helps make a successful marriage…

While I absolutely know there’s more to it, I do think taking vacations, traveling & cruising (seriously there’s no better holiday!) is one part of the recipe 🚢😉❤️

For anyone wondering, Frank & I got married young by today’s standards (I was 22). While I know this wouldn’t work for everybody, we’ve been able grow together through all the phases of our lives

Houses were bought & sold 🏠
Kids were raised & have grown ⬆️
Dogs have come into our lives & sadly some have gone 🌈
And our careers have certainly changed!!! 😳

Now Frank & I are lucky enough to work together - in a bit of a second act of life. I admit becoming “content creators” at 50+ was an unexpected twist 😅

Through it all, there’s been enjoying cruising together 💙

I’m so thankful that we’ve also been able to enjoy travel with our family as our kids have become adults 👏

This life is truly more than I could have asked for & imagined 33 years ago 🥰

It’s Alaska cruise time again!! But this time we’re doing something different 🚢🙌🥂

We’re onboard Oceania Riviera for our first “small ship luxury cruise”. I’m really looking forward to discovering some of the differences & experiencing this well loved cruise line 😍

Btw, our itinerary is also unique. We’re sailing from Seattle to Ketchikan, Icy Strait Point, Sitka & a nice long day in Victoria, BC 🐳

Woohoo!! It’s cruise embarkation day & this calls for Embarkation Day Mimosas (per tradition)!! 🛳️🥂🎉

We’re onboard @princesscruises Enchanted Princess & she is so elegant!! Although not new, she’s a beauty!! 🤩

This is the adult pool (pic 2-4) that is likely going to be our hangout this week 😂

Sidenote: We probably had the fastest & easiest boarding time in years - literally onboard by 11:00 am! 👏👏

Rome bound for our Mediterranean cruise!! 🛳️✈️🇮🇹

We flew into Rome yesterday - yes it’s really hot!! 🥵 (100F / 40C). But the pasta 🍝 is delicious & the Aperol Spritz 🍹are cold 😂

Will be boarding the Enc Princess tomorrow for an amazing seven night Mediterranean cruise - seriously can’t wait!! 😍

Can I be a bit vulnerable for a moment?

When I started Life Well Cruised back in 2018, it was really just a passion project. I didn’t have huge expectations

Truthfully, I was hoping to earn a little side income to help subsidize an extra cruise or two (goals, right?! 😂)

I wasn’t really on social media, & sharing my life and talking to a camera felt pretty awkward 😬

But i discovered that was actually a good thing

It reminded me that there are always new things to learn, and sometimes you just have to do the uncomfortable thing anyway… even if it feels a little cringy.

And believe me, when you’re “cringy” on social media, it’s humbling 😅

Thankfully, at 50+, I’m not trying to be the best & coolest “influencer”

And fortunately, along with my family, I’ve been able to share real & unfiltered cruise travel tips & experiences. My hope is that they make your vacations less stressful & more fun!!

Although I do have to apologize for the occasional shopping inspiration 🛍️😂

Today, our community has grown to 500,000+ on YouTube, 200,000+ on Facebook, and 85,000+ on Instagram. It’s reallly mind-blowing!! 🤩

That said, it’s not about numbers (although I do believe in celebrating milestones & goal setting). I deeply appreciate every like, share, comment and view ☺️
