Our aim is to save all wildlife, especially elephants.
From the various types of hazards they face in their natural habitats and daily life in their natural environment.
The most common hazards they face while roaming in and around the forest are
*Elephants and other animals falling into agricultural wells
*Elephants and other wild animals getting caught in traps set by poachers
*Elephants falling into muddy pits and ditches for medical treatment
* Villagers report injured elephants and other wild animals to wildlife officials.
* All wildlife rescue operations are carried out under veterinary supervision.
* Most incidents are immediately monitored by a mobile team of wildlife officials. It is either done on the spot, or the animals are taken to a safe place.

ආහාර බහුලව නොමැති කාලයේ ඇතින්න තම කුඩා පැටවාද රැගෙන තාවකාලිකව රංචුවෙන් බැහැරව ජීවත්වන අවස්ථා දැකගත හැකිය. රංචුව ප්රදේශයෙන් ප්රදේශයට සංක්රමනය උනත් ඇතින්න කුඩා පැටවා සමග සංචරණය නවතා බොහෝ අවස්ථාවල පැටවා සමග නවතී. මේ අවස්ථාවල ඇතින්නගේ පෙර පැටවාද ඔවුන් සමග නවතින අවස්ථා ඇත. එම පැටවා ගැහැනු හෝ පිරිමි පැටවකු විය හැකිය. එසේම ඇතින්නගේ සහෝදරියක හෝ ඇගේ මව හෙවත් පැටවාගේ ආච්චි වුවද නැවතීමේ අවස්ථා ඇත.
මෙවැනි අලි තිදෙනෙකුගෙන් යුත් කන්ඩායම "තුන්පත් රෑන" යන නමින් හදුන්වයි. මෙය ගැනැණු ආධිපත්යය මත අලි රංචුවක රැදීම පාලනය නායකත්වය සිදුවන නිසා මෙය ගැහැනු අලින්ගේ අන්යෝන්ය බැදීම මත පවතින සිදුවීමකි.
මෙම කන්ඩායමේ ඇතින්නගේ පිරිමි පැටවකු නැවතුන අවස්ථාවල පැටවා සමග මව, පියා සිටින බවට සමහරුන් සිතයි. පිරිමිසතුන්ට සාපේක්ෂව ඇතින්නන් කුඩාය. අවු 10 පමන වයසේ සිටින පිරිමි පැටවකු මවගේ දේහ ප්රමාණයට වඩා විශාල වේ.
තවත් අවස්ථාවල කිරිබොන වයසේ පැටවකු සිටින ඇතින්නක ලිංගිකව සක්රීය කාලය තුල ප්රදේශයේ සිටින පිරිමි අලින් ඇය කරා පැමිනේ. එසේ පැමිනෙන පිරිමි අලි අතරින් ශක්තිවන්තයාට ඇතින්න හිමිවේ. සති 16 පමණ දිගු ලිංගික චක්රයේ දින 4 ක් පමන සක්රීය කාලය සමහර ඇතින්නන් රංචුවේම රැදී සිටී. සමහරෙක් තමන්ගේ තාවකාලික සහකරු සමග රංචුවෙන් ඉවත්ව වෙනම කාලය ගතකරයි. මෙවැනි අවස්ථාවල කිරිබොන වයසේ පැටවාද ඇය සමග සිටී. මෙවැනි තිදෙනෙකු දුටුවහොත් කෙනෙකු තුන්පත් රෑනක් යැයි වැරදි අවබෝධයක් ඇතිකරගනී..
