This channel is mostly about electric vehicles and aims to help those who are considering an EV or to help owners with theirs, whether that is using it, fixing or servicing it, plus reviews of accessories. Also as I drive around the UK, I review the UK charging infrastructure and report on new EV charging installations.
I've been driving EVs for 9+ years and the channel has been best known for the content on some of my own personal cars - Renault Zoe, Hyundai Ioniq Electric, Tesla Model S and Tesla Model Y, plus others.

If you don't yet have Grok in your Tesla - i.e. an older car with the Intel Atom chip or a later car in a market where Grok hasn't yet rolled out, you now have an alternative. Snowy AI is a ChatGPT based assistant designed specifically for older Teslas.

Today YouTube change how they count views. Just watching the first frame will now count as a view. So I thought I'd capture the views on this channel today using the old method before the numbers get inflated.
Over the last 28 days, this channel has had a decent boost in views and subscribers. Views are up 49% to over 630k, mostly due to publishing more videos, with 42 new videos in this period. Subscribers are up by 2.3K which is the most in a month ever. With the new plug-in solar videos, a new audience is watching, which is probably the reason for the boost. Thank you all for watching and I welcome the new subscribers.

Ever wondered how many solar panels you can put on your 800W plug-in inverter to get the most out of it in the low sun months? In the latest video I look at over sizing (or over panelling) and how to match your panels with your inverter. I have 1840W of panels on my 800W inverter, which you'd think would be way too much. But at the end of the video I test disconnecting two to see what the difference is, in peak August sun.

It's been a while since I've made a video on an EV charging location, so I thought I'd report on these new chargers just off the A34 at the Milton Interchange because they're hidden in a dead end road. This is a new 8-bay charging hub opposite the JLR dealership, which may expand to 14 bays soon.
