Alright, I've decided: I'm going to make a game. May I introduce to you the key art for "CyberStrykers: Gaia Protocol".
It'll be a turn-based RPG; set in a cyberpunk world with emerging magic. And, of course, as a novelist, story is one of the most important aspects to me--and will be a major component of this game. It's a concept I've been working on in the background.
You'll follow the story of Ruby Torres--imprisoned for a murder she didn't commit. To her, it feels like the whole planet hates her. How ironic, then, that she is the reincarnation of Gaia--and it's her fate to save it.
Of course, I'm one guy. I need to keep the scope small, and in an art style I can manage. As such, it will feature sprite character art (as seen in this key art) in a low-res 3D environment. Unity as the game engine.
Fun fact, if you didn't know this about me: I went to school for game dev. I have a 3+1 year Advanced Diploma in game development, and have worked as a software developer for a decade--the first quarter of which actually was in the games industry (albeit as a mobile game dev).
I miss making games. I love designing games. Building levels. Diving deep into the lore.
I'm not promising a timeline. Even with a tight scope, this will take a long time to develop. Especially juggling a full-time job, writing novels, and my Youtube channel--but forward I will march. I'll show you guys everything I do as I work on it, sans spoilers. So follow me on X/Facebook/here in the Posts if you want to see it progress.

Important poll, please vote!
As you have noticed, I started doing gaming videos in addition to my PEV & EV videos.
Should I keep doing those gaming videos in addition to my electric vehicle stuff? (You'll just watch what interests you, and ignore what doesn't)
Or should I split that off into a separate channel, and keep this one specifically EVs & PEVs? (The stuff that doesn't interest you clutters up your feed and is annoying to sift through)
The EV & PEV related stuff won't change in frequency here either way, as I handle those videos separately from the gaming stuff.
