Gnomes and Novels
Welcome to Gnomes & Novels! I'm D'Linda, lover of many tales and random crafty shenanigans. My hope is to continue sharing the love of reading, no matter how you consume books or what genre you prefer! There is no wrong way to read a book.
So grab your favorite blanket and mug, get your reading spot ready. And let's tackle some books together!
Gnomes and Novels
Wow wow WOW! What an amazing and enlightening story. I not only felt the pain that these characters went through but Due really has a way to bring each scene to life. I would recommend this story along with checking out her Author’s Note, she provides additional resources regarding this topic and more historical content.

Tis another Monday friends!!! Doesn’t feel like Autumn yet🍂?! The Midwest is having another wonky weather week.
This weekend was so much fun! Me and the bestie took the girls for our annual apple picking shenanigans. And we also went to the 🐼Panda Fest KC…save your coins. It was cute but the food was bland and would not recommend.

Happy Monday friends! This weekend was mildly relaxing and yet I got very little done. I did get back into some sort of a workout regimen with Orange Theory so that was exciting. And I’ve got some pretty big financial goals set for next year, but I’ve got quite a few small debts to pay off to help me get there so I did some door dash deliveries this weekend also!
If you don’t mind driving for a few hours and can use a GPS, I would totally recommend trying it out!
Now what for this week!
Only 1 video coming to you on Thursday ➡️ September Wrap Up with a Magical Readathon update!
As always thanks for being here! I hope the rest of your week is amazing! 🫶🏽

Tis another Monday friends! So much happened this weekend, me and the Bestie finally finished the bookshelf and she’s all dressed up in her glory. I even started to do a book inventory video but at 20 min in, I’m literally dreading to complete it. I normally really enjoy thee editing process of videos but this one is so tedious and time consuming, I may not complete it and just keep on with the creative flow🫣 IF there are books or genres you’re super interested, of course I will put something together. But right now that’s not really calling to me. 😥
With September coming to an end, I do have another reading challenge in October that I’m going to tackle a little bit differently. Because the Magical Readathon did not go as planned lol sooo stay tuned for those updates!

Happy Monday friends!
I hope everyone had a glorious weekend! The sun is still shining brightly in MO we’re all sick of it lol I did some more crafting and made a super fun lanyard along with meeting up with the Bestie for breakfast and mimosas!!!
I unfortunately have hit a rut and so instead reading what I thought I was going to, I am leaning into what will bring me joy…which happens to be heavy traumatic stories 🫠🥴 anyone else🙋🏽♀️?
Anywho I hope the rest of the week bodes well for you and stay tuned for this weeks videos!

Tis another Monday friends! When I took the dogs out this morning I felt the crisp Autumn breeze and I got super excited! It’s just about bonfire 🔥 season!!!
This weekend was such a fun time. Me and the kiddo visited the Bestie and we all got dressed up for the Renaissance Fair! I would definitely recommending going at least once! It’s a great family environment and lost to see.

Happy (Labor Day) Monday!! I hope you all are able to get an extra day of rest and relaxation. Maybe head to the pool before it closes or catch up on a show you’ve been putting off.
I actually spent the weekend not reading and enjoying The Gilded Age, which is quite comical! I would recommend if you enjoy Bridgerton.

Happy Monday friends! Now that I’ve got my toes wet with videos/editting and we’re getting back into a routine with the kiddo and her activities, I’m going to be trying out a new posting schedule for September. Shooting for weekly videos on Mondays and Thursdays.
I love posting and sharing those longer monthly and quarterly videos but trust me I am actually reading books lol and I want to share those too, I just gotta figure out where🥰

Happy Sunday! I am still working on this audio and new layers have been discovered. I’m slowly working thru and doing my annotations since I purchased this after I started the book.
Have you seen this one or thought about picking it up?
