For Tuk’s Sake

The Rickshaw Run is an adventurous, often chaotic, rally where participants drive auto-rickshaws across India with minimal rules or assistance.

We plan to drive a tiny, unreliable rickshaw across India. Along the way, we’ll face breakdowns, bad weather, questionable maps, and encounters with curious locals.

The Rickshaw Run is part endurance test and part cultural immersion. We plan to bond over moments of triumph and struggle, sharing laughter and frustration. Our journey will likely involve meeting locals, tasting street food, and celebrating unexpected victories (like successfully fixing a rickshaw with duct tape).

Ultimately, it’s less about the destination and more about the adventure, teamwork, and memorable stories along the way!

Behold! This is the paint design we created for our rickshaw! Erin drew this masterpiece by hand. What an artiste! Now let’s see what it looks like after the local painters get their hands on our trusty 3-wheeled tin can.
