WELCOME and hello! I'm thrilled to have you here! This is my first community post, and I thought I'd tell you a bit more about the "why" of Infinite LiveLoop, and who I am. I've been a composer/musician/performer and producer for many years, as well as a video producer/editor for my "day gig". I've played in lots of bands, I've toured throughout the country with them, and spent lots of time in the studio creating as well. After so many years of playing other people's music in cover bands and even my own covers gig, I wanted to take all of the music knowledge and composition and improvisation skills I've developed and create something of my own - and that's the genesis of Infinite LiveLoop.
I recently discovered and fell in love with the music and approach of European YouTubers such as Riccardo Moretti and his performance gig @TribalNeed and others who perform live looping, and I connected so strongly with this type of improv approach and style that I wanted to develop and create music that resonates in the same way, and perform live here in the US. Music is healing, music is love - and we have a shortage of that here right now. So in that spirit, I'm creating and performing in the hope of gathering a tribe here, people who enjoy this type of music and performance and who I might actually meet in person as I travel and perform.
My mantra is "One synth, one looper, one human". This follows the simple template laid out by others in this space to use a few really great sonic ingredients to create. Beautiful, simple ingredients that together make great music that brings the vibe to people, whether it's online, or on the street, or on the stage. It's not about the equipment you have, but how you use it - and that is my foundation. From the simplest of gear - no computer, no AI, no recorded tracks, and no pre-made sequences - every performance is new, every piece contains familiar melodic elements but the music is fresh and unique every time.
