Step Into Christmas with @CMATbaby is Out Now, exclusively on @amazonmusic!
I’ve loved CMAT since I first heard her and saw her videos years ago.
She has this incredible personality and a wicked sense of humour. You can tell she has Rock n Roll and Country and Americana at the heart of what she does - we’re kindred spirits in so many ways. And that’s why I was so thrilled with the idea of us collaborating on Step Into Christmas.
She’s done an amazing job, and I can’t wait for you all to hear it! 🎄

A day to remember on Hollywood Boulevard! ⭐
️
On this day in 1975, thousands of fans gathered for the unveiling of my star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, as Los Angeles officially declared it ‘Elton John Week’!
Complete with a gold-painted golf cart, enormous glasses and a lime-green Bob Mackie suit, it was quite the occasion!

50 years of Rock of the Westies 💙
I’d forgotten just how much this album rocks. It was a fun record to make, and listening back all these years later, I’m still incredibly proud of the musicianship on it.
To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Rock of the Westies is being reissued on 20th November, with previously unreleased Piano & Vocal Versions from the original album sessions.
You can hear the Piano & Vocal Version of ‘Street Kids’ now, and pre-order the 50th Anniversary Edition on 2LP, 2CD and 1LP.

Brazil, last night was out of this world 🇧🇷🚀
I was so sad when we couldn’t come to South America on the Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour so when I was asked if I could come and play @rockinrio , I said yes because I wanted to come to say thank you again for all the love you’ve shown me throughout my career and thank this beautiful country, and the beautiful people that live in it.
So thank you Brazil, for being such a huge part of my life. I love you! ❤️
