STOP. What if the freedom you’re so proud of… is actually your prison?

The most dangerous chains are the ones you cannot see.

Some people are enslaved—and call it freedom.
They defend the very things destroying them because they’ve lived with their chains for so long.

Sin can become a master.
Pride can become a prison.
Deception can make bondage feel like independence.

Jesus said, “Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.” — John 8:34 KJV

But He also said, “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” — John 8:36 KJV

Don’t just ask, “Am I free?”
Ask, “Who is my master?”

Because you can be walking without chains—and still be a slave.

NEW AND OLD FRUITS
“Pleasant fruits, new and old, which I have laid up for thee, O my beloved.” — Song of Solomon 7:13
Before you ask God for something new this month, ask yourself: What am I bringing Him?
You have new prayers, new opportunities, new hopes, and perhaps new goals. But God also wants the fruit He has already produced in you—the faith you once had, the lessons you learned, the prayers He answered, and the mercies that carried you through seasons you thought would destroy you.
Some of your greatest testimonies are not new. They are reminders that God has been faithful all along.
So bring Him both: the new and the old. Bring Him your gratitude. Bring Him your obedience. Bring Him your repentance. Bring Him your faith. And don't live this month trying to impress people with fruit that was meant for God.
But remember this: fruit does not save the tree. Christ does.
We do not bring our good works to earn His love. We bring them because He first loved us. Jesus went to the cross, bore our sin, shed His blood, and rose again so that our lives could become fruitful for God.
This October, don't merely ask God to bless your life. Surrender your life to Christ.
Let every prayer, every decision, every gift, every sacrifice, and every good work be laid before Him.
New fruit. Old fruit. Every fruit.
Let it all belong to Jesus.
PRAYER:
Lord Jesus, everything You have produced in me—old and new—I lay before You. Forgive my sins, renew my heart, and make my life fruitful for Your glory. Let nothing I do this month be for human applause. Let it all belong to You in Jesus Christ Amen.

Everything we build in this life is temporary. Our bodies, possessions, careers, plans, and earthly security will not last forever. But Jesus Christ offers something eternal.
Stop trusting only in what your hands can build. Trust the One who can give you an eternal dwelling.

What exactly was being cleansed on the Day of Atonement—the people, the sanctuary, the altar, or all three? And why does Leviticus repeatedly emphasize sanctuary cleansing?

YOUR JOB PAYS YOU WELL. BUT WHAT IS IT COSTING YOU?

Let’s stop romanticizing the big salary.

You make ₦1 million.
Then ₦2 million.
Then ₦5 million.

Your lifestyle improves.
But you’re never home.
Your children are growing up without you.
Your spouse gets whatever energy work didn't take.
You wake up tired, spend the day stressed, and call it “success.”
At some point, you have to ask:
Are you building a better life—or simply financing the loss of the life you actually wanted?
And before someone says, “At least I'm providing,” here's the uncomfortable part:
Provision is not the same thing as presence.
But let's be fair.
Family doesn't pay every bill.
Peace doesn't replace rent.
Love doesn't automatically cover school fees.
So pretending money doesn't matter is just as dishonest.
The real question isn't:
“Money or family?”
It's:
“How much of your life are you willing to sell for a higher salary?”
Because your employer can replace your position.
Your money can eventually be replaced.
But some years with your children?
You don't get those back.

Now let's argue.
🔥 Would you accept a job that doubled your income if it meant significantly less time with your spouse and children?

YES or NO—and defend your answer.

FLEE IT. PURSUE IT. FIGHT FOR YOUR SOUL.

“Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.” — 2 Timothy 2:22

Paul does not tell Timothy to negotiate with youthful lusts.rem

He says:
FLEE.
Run. Cut access. Leave the environment.
Some temptations are not defeated by standing near them and proving your strength.

1. FLEE WHAT CAN DESTROY YOU

When temptation came, Joseph ran.
«“And he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out.”
— Genesis 39:12»
He lost a garment but kept his integrity.
Sometimes wisdom looks like running.

2. PURSUE WHAT IS RIGHT

Paul says:

“Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace.”
Holiness requires replacement.
Flee lust and pursue righteousness.
Flee impurity and pursue holiness.
Flee hatred and pursue love.
Flee confusion and pursue peace.
Flee unbelief and pursue faith.
«“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.”
— Matthew 5:6»

What continually feeds your mind will influence your heart and character.

3. GOD SEES YOUR PRIVATE LIFE

You may hide the conversation, delete the message, or smile in church.
But God sees what nobody else sees.
«“For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed.”
— Luke 12:2»
The issue is not whether people know.
The issue is whether God knows.
And He does.

4. STOP MAKING PEACE WITH WHAT GOD TOLD YOU TO FLEE

Some people do not need another prophecy.
They need obedience.
They pray for freedom while protecting the thing enslaving them.
They ask for victory while feeding the habit.
«“Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
— James 4:7»
First, submit to God. Then resist the devil.

5. YOUR COMPANIONS MATTER

«“Evil communications corrupt good manners.”
— 1 Corinthians 15:33»
Look at who has access to your mind, what you watch, and what conversations you entertain.
What you repeatedly permit eventually becomes what you desire.

6. TEMPTATION IS NOT SIN

Jesus was tempted yet remained without sin.
«“Tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”
— Hebrews 4:15»
The question is what you do with temptation.
Do you reject it or rehearse it?
There is a difference between being tempted and building a home inside temptation.

7. GRACE IS NOT PERMISSION TO SIN

«“Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid.”
— Romans 6:1–2»
Grace does not make sin safe.
Grace makes repentance possible.
Get up. Leave it. Come back to God.

8. THE WORLD RENAMES SIN
Lust becomes “desire.”
Greed becomes “ambition.”
Pride becomes “confidence.”
But changing the vocabulary does not change the truth.
«“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil.”
— Isaiah 5:20»

9. YOUR BODY BELONGS TO GOD

«“Flee fornication.”
— 1 Corinthians 6:18»

Your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost.

«“Glorify God in your body.”
— 1 Corinthians 6:20»

10. KNOW WHEN TO FIGHT AND WHEN TO RUN

David fought Goliath.

Joseph ran from temptation.

Spiritual maturity knows the difference.

Some victories come by defeating the enemy. Others come by refusing to remain in his territory.
Flee. Follow. Surround yourself with faithful people.

THE BRUTAL QUESTION

What if the greatest obstacle to your spiritual maturity is the thing you refuse to flee?
The relationship.
The secret habit.
The bitterness.
The addiction.
The compromise.
You keep asking God for deliverance while protecting the doorway to bondage.
Stop asking God to bless what you refuse to surrender.

THIS IS YOUR CALL TODAY

Flee.
Then pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace.
Walk with people who genuinely seek God.
If following Christ costs you a relationship, habit, opportunity, reputation, or pleasure—
let it go.
It is better to lose what pulls you from God than to keep it and lose your soul.
«“Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.” — 2 Timothy 2:22»

FLEE WHAT GOD TOLD YOU TO FLEE.
PURSUE WHAT GOD TOLD YOU TO PURSUE.
STOP CALLING COMPROMISE FREEDOM.

🌾 GOD'S PROMISE: OBEDIENCE BRINGS DIVINE PROVISION 🌾
📖 "And the land shall yield her fruit, and ye shall eat your fill, and dwell therein in safety." — Leviticus 25:19 (KJV)
Many people live in fear because they trust their own strength more than God's promises. But the Lord declares that when His people walk in obedience, He Himself becomes their Provider and Protector.
Leviticus 25:19 reminds us that God is not only concerned about our souls—He also cares for our daily needs. The God who created the earth is able to make it produce enough for those who honor Him. Obedience to God's commandments is never a loss; it is the pathway to His abundant blessing.
Are you worried about tomorrow? Are you afraid there will not be enough? Repent, trust the Lord, and remain faithful to His Word. The God who fed Israel in the wilderness and multiplied the loaves and fishes has not changed. He is still able to provide, sustain, and keep His people secure.
Do not compromise with sin for temporary gain. Choose obedience over convenience, faith over fear, and God's promises over the world's uncertainties. Those who walk with God can rest in the assurance that He will never abandon them.
🙏 Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me to obey Your Word without fear. Teach me to trust Your promises above my circumstances. Let my life reflect Your faithfulness, and provide all that I need according to Your perfect will. In Jesus Christ name, Amen.

👇Challenge: What area of your life do you need to trust God with today? Share it in the comments, and let us encourage one another in faith.

A Mother's Advice to Her Stubborn Daughter ❤️

"My daughter, being strong is a gift—but being teachable is wisdom.

Stubbornness may win an argument today, but humility will build a better future tomorrow.

Listen before you speak.
Learn before you decide.
Pray before you act.

Not everyone who corrects you is against you. Sometimes God sends loving voices to protect you from painful mistakes.

Your beauty may open doors, but your character will keep them open.

Never confuse independence with refusing wise counsel. The greatest women are those who remain humble enough to keep learning.

One day, you'll thank the people who told you the truth instead of only telling you what you wanted to hear.

Choose wisdom over pride.
Choose peace over proving a point.
Choose God's direction over your own understanding.

A humble heart will always go farther than a stubborn spirit.

"Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end." — Proverbs 19:20 (KJV)

If this message touched your heart, share it with someone who needs this reminder today. ❤️

🙏 YOUR PRAYERS ARE NOT LOST 🙏
Have you been praying for days, months, or even years without seeing an answer?
Don't lose heart.
God has not forgotten you.
"The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth..." — Psalm 34:17 (KJV)
Every prayer you have prayed... Every tear you have cried... Every moment you have waited...
God has seen it all.
Sometimes the answer is "Yes." Sometimes it is "Wait." Sometimes God has something even better than what you asked for.
Just because heaven seems silent doesn't mean God is absent. He is working behind the scenes, even when you cannot see it.
Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep trusting.
Your breakthrough may be closer than you think.
🙏 What have you been praying for? If you're comfortable sharing, leave it in the comments. Let's encourage one another and pray together.
"Your prayers are not lost—they are heard, treasured, and answered in God's perfect time." ❤️
May the Lord strengthen everyone who is waiting on Him.
