Hello, and welcome! I'm just a videographer who likes to document / film. Here I post videos of various things such as breaking news stories, nature, transit (lots of transit videos), elevators, emergency vehicles, buildings, astronomy, science, weather, walking videos, educational videos and much more!
My main goal is to document life.
I film everything and anything that I find interesting, or that others may find interesting. I consider myself an independent journalist / filming enthusiast.
This channel is a real-time journal of the past. present and future where I can bring you the world through my eyes and beyond.
I chose the name Sky of the Universe because I believe the mind has no limits of discovery, creativity etc, just as the sky of this universe has no limits. Also, the Universe is full of so much diversity just like my channel + I also love astronomy 🌌

I know some of you have been asking about the herniated disc in my lower back since it has been a year now.
Background (no pun intended): Last year I woke up one morning with numbness in my left knee going down to my left foot. I also had weakness and my knee would not be able to hold up my weight if I put too much on the left side. I also had pain running down my left side between my back and my foot as well as no knee reflex when the knee gets tapped.
It turned out to be a herniated disc pressing on some spinal nerves leading down. It was at the L3-L4 disc in the lower back and was described as a large herniated disc as well.
Because the herniated disc was pressing on some nerves, it was resulting in some pain, numbness and muscle weakness since the nerves are responsible for feeling and mobility.
Update as of October 2026: I have seen some decent improvement over the past year or so. The numbness has gotten better and I can now describe it more as a reduced sensation feeling that is only noticeable if I really focus on it.
In terms of the muscle weakness, I still can't put all my weight on my left knee if I bend it to a certain extent, however, I can put more weight on it now than a year ago and I can walk much easier.
The patellar reflex (knee-jerk reflex) when it is hit with a hammer is still absent but I am hopeful this will return as well.
In terms of pain, it only comes once in awhile and is much better than the first week or so.
Because some muscles are not working properly, other muscles have to work extra hard so this creates some pain sometimes as well, but it is tolerable.
Overall, it has gotten better and I just have to keep walking, biking, etc to keep my recovery going.

In case you missed it, here was a rare live stream where REM trains were sharing one track for both directions on the Samuel-de-Champlain Bridge.
This was because of work being done on one of the tracks.
You can see in the video the view from a ride in each direction for a unique perspective.

🕊️ RIP to one of my viewers turned great friend @yolnow4ever515 Sophie. I was happy to see her one last time Friday after her battle with illness.
She would always send me beautiful sunset and sky photos from her window. We will meet again.
