How to survive as an artist? Well that’s quite the question isn’t it?
Let’s make a list of how I’m dealing with it:
1. A 9/5 job, as an artist at the local 🎭 in my city.
2. Getting commissions for locals ( which is so frustrating you have idea)
3. Sharing my art on social media/web sites and hope for the best.

My latest thing was opening a one time mail club on Patreon! Join it if you are interested in getting a hand made linocut prints ( that is also a part of my newest experimental animation), along with some stickers and a heartwarming letter! Link in bio!

I truly can’t believe that this idea with the one time mail club reached someone’s heart! I prepared only 50 spots, and even if I will send only 2 letters, for me that’s a win win!
Anyway there are still 48 spots available on my patreon, in case you are interested in receiving something unique in your mail, access the link in my profile! 🫀

After a lot of tryouts and mental breakdowns this painting is finally over! I will never get tired to say that there is no such pleasure as painting from your own references! Don’t forget to follow for painting process videos and more details on this piece!

First time after 2023 I’m posting a long video (the longest on my channel so far)
I’m so glad I made myself do it, it was a really hard work for me, both editing and gathering all that material. But hey, small steps help you to get where you want to be!
So please enjoy this video, and tell me what are your impressions!!!

From time to time I should take out my paintings for * a walk*. I don't have enough space to exhibit every single piece I have, though I don't have that many finished ones. Instead of struggling with that, I should let them go and try to find new homes for them! So if you think you have a perfect spot for one of these two praying mantis pieces, please leave me a message so we could discuss the adoption process! Meanwhile, you might be delighted to watch the process of how they were made, and listen to some of my thoughts on the topic of *Fear of painting*.
It is already on my channel!

How do two small flowers teach you that you can't control anything? Very simple, they will dry out before you will even finish ( or start ) painting. Everything around here is so unpredictable lately, that's why I can't paint with oils, I feel like I'm missing something, or I have too many thoughts and can't concentrate. However, tempera sketches are a good option to feel a bit better. Check out my new video to see the process.

How often do you visit artists's workshops?
As an artist myself, I don't do that often. ( Maybe because most of the artists are introverts? Prove me wrong if you can!)
Yesterday I had such an opportunity, and you can check my latest video to see some bits from this fascinating visit!
