This channel and our website are all about Western Australia.

We cover all sorts of topics including interesting attractions, towns and cities, great campsites and accommodation, history, folklore, birds, animals, wildflowers, four wheel driving, camping, caravans, camper trailers, boating, fishing, safety on the road and we also share our adventures with you as we travel around to film and photograph Western Australia.

We may not have a huge number of subscribers but we do have a huge number of videos. We now have OVER 1,200 videos for you to look through so hopefully you will find something here to interest you.

Sick to death of YouTube's increasing greed and the avalanche of ads? Yeah me too. So I am exploring hosting my own videos on my own website. I'm not sure yet how well this will work but I have set up the Albany page with all the videos relevant to that area. No more ads means I won't get any revenue from doing this but breaking away from YouTube just might be worth it. UPDATE: Well we are back to square one with regard to getting away for a trip. Sadly just before Dorothy was due to have the operation on her hand she burned herself while cooking and then the burn got scratched. That meant the op that should have taken place last month is now going to happen tomorrow and it will be at least a couple of weeks recovery time before we can think about getting away. Add to that the fact that we still have a huge hole in our dining room ceiling (yes we are STILL waiting for someone to come and fix it) the trip may not happen now until some time in October - if we are lucky... On a positive note, it looks as though the virus I had on my computer was defeated as there has been no sign of anything for a long time. I still won't be doing any banking on this laptop though LOL.

WARNING: Two days ago a virus managed to find its way on to my phone. I am very careful not to click links in emails etc. so I have no idea how it got there. Shortly after that it somehow managed to find its way to my laptop. The only way I can see that it could have done that is through browser syncing. I cannot be 100% sure of this but there seems to be no other way it could have got to the laptop. The virus has proved to be IMPOSSIBLE to remove and anti-virus software is NOT detecting it. It is a re-director that sends you to malicious websites when clicking on links. As a result of this I am going to have to wipe both my laptop and my phone and start everything from scratch. Hopefully it has not managed to migrate to my backup drives. If it has - I am pretty much stuffed... My advice is to un-sync your browsers, in fact do not even set up browser accounts, just us them without signing in. Time will tell if I manage to get this sorted. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS VIRUS!
