Spiritual Warfare Guide

Spiritual warfare is very real. There is a furious, fierce, and ferocious battle raging in the realm of the spirit between the forces of God and the forces of evil. Warfare happens every day, all the time. Whether you believe it or not, you are in a battlefield. You are in warfare.

3 Important lessons from the exorcists for this 'voodoo priestess'.
So this 'voodoo priestess' said the biggest haters she got was from Christians. "We're not supposed to judge, right? What makes what one person believes in more significant and right to do than what somebody else? They drink the blood of Christ, right? And we're all supposed to be God's children."

"So it is good for us to call to mind from time to time the fundamental importance of love in everything we think, say and do. The Blessed Mother was a master of this. She was a master of the simplicity of love.

It wasn't the big things that made her a great saint, it was the little things, but with great love. So when even walking to the kitchen or preparing a meal, or sweeping the flute, she was mindful of the love that gave merit to these simple acts.

So we should not run after spiritual niceties and good feelings that comes and goes. When it comes, we embrace it. If it doesn't come, we don't run after it.

There are people, I'm sure you know, that think that religion is proven by feeling. So the more I feel a spiritual high, the more I'm pleasing to God.

And if I feel that God is not there, then I must be displeasing to him. Well, guess what? The opposite is true. My ways are not your ways. God says, when we are suffering, whether it's interior or exterior, God is resting in us, we are consoling Him.

When we are feeling high with spiritual consolations, there's no suffering, no disturbance, then God is suffering and we are resting. This is the spiritual interplay that happens with all the mystics.

When God needs to rest and be consoled, He allows us to share in His suffering. When we need to be rested and consoled, then God suffers and He allows us to rest. Commit that to memory.

Because this is a teaching that is found in the writings of all the mystics. Alright? And this is further proof that the Holy Spirit's working in us.

If we were not to feel this interplay between consolation and desolation, the Holy Spirit would not be acting in us, something would be wrong.

So we should expect that these bouts, highs and lows of consolation and desolation, but they don't bring us out of God's love.

Hence the importance of equanimity, of immutability, that no matter what comes or goes, the highs and lows the consolations, desolations which will come, and they're good. The soul does not get displaced from God. All right?"
