There are a disturbing number of grown men walking around these days whose Man Card should've been revoked years ago.

You don't need to hunt. You don't need to drink whiskey. You don't need a beard or a lifted truck.

But for God's sake, you should be able to fix some shit.

Change a tire. Use basic tools. Figure out why something stopped working. Make a repair without immediately reaching for your phone to hire somebody.

The Man Card isn't about being macho. It's about being capable.

So what basic skills should every grown man have before he's allowed to keep his Man Card?

Well, I finally did something with the Channel Memberships.

Yesterday I compared the $100 Milwaukee and Klein electrician kits, and it looks like most of you came to the same conclusion I did.

The comments have been great, especially hearing from guys with decades in the trade.

And remember — I'm giving BOTH kits away to people just getting started in the electrical trade. I've already received a few emails from people hoping to get one.

If you know an apprentice, student, or someone trying to get into the trade who could genuinely use a set of tools, share the video with them so they can enter.

I'd really like to see these go to two people who could use the help.

Bought an Axial SCX30 K10 and I'm completely fascinated with this little thing. Already swapped in brass steering knuckles, and I've got new wheels and tires coming.

Because apparently I needed another hobby that involves buying tools and parts.
