I'm trying to slow down and find balance within this chaotic, digital world. I've found solace in many analog hobbies, but nothing has brought together a sense of community quite as much as typewriters. So, you'll see a lot of typewriter-specific content, but I'll throw in some other analog material, in the service of the same goal of slowing down.
For those that were interested in my production content, check out my business page (@the124productions) where I still do multimedia content.

Are you coming to the Tappa Tappa Online typewriter meetup on 9/20? youtube.com/live/_mfwndv9buo
Here's the description, if you haven't heard of it:
Pull up a chair for an online Tappa Tappa. Bring a typewriter if you have one, work on something, write a little, ask questions, or just hang out with other people who enjoy these strange little machines. No experience required.
Prompts will be posted prior to the event on YouTube's 'Post' section. Prompts are just for helping those who don't know what to write about. Feel free to write about whatever your heart desires!
Format: I will be live, on camera, and lead the conversation and timing. Everyone is encouraged to participate in the group comment thread. Share excitement for what you're working on!
• 10 minutes: Chat and introductions
• 20 minutes: Quiet writing sprint. This is where we have focused typewriter time -- the livestream camera will remain active with a countdown timer.
• 10 minutes: Chat break
• 20 minutes: Quiet writing sprint
• 15 minutes: Chat about what we worked on
Tappa Tappa is about making typewriters a little less intimidating and giving people a reason to connect, wherever they happen to be.
Event is 9/20/26 at 2:00 PM EASTERN TIME.

Which version do you like better? Color outlines or plain white?
These are wide screen thumbnails so click the image if you only see a square.

In case you were ever curious where to find the full video that a Short is pulled from you can find them linked under the creator's profile picture (assuming they linked the full video to the Short).
Hope that helps @YvesNixVideographer!

Power went out at the home office so I got to test out my mobile setup. A delicious success, if I do say so myself.
I got the second monitor specifically for this purpose. It’s my standard second monitor at home, which I normally have mounted on a swing arm. Its mobility and low power are perfect when I need something on the go. Glad to see a plan came together. 😀

I love what @austinmeyerfilms has been doing. I’m in preproduction of my first documentary and have been getting so much value out of his content.
I encourage anyone looking to see through the noise of YouTube to check out his stuff. It’s great.

So, I'm editing my Creatathon announcement video and this is a pretty spectacular screenshot the showcases my struggles 😂. It's been a while since I did a non-vlog video and all I can say is...boy, I didn't miss the act of retakes.
Get ready because the Creatathon details are going live on Sunday!

No Create-With-Me livestream, tonight. Spending time with my wife before she goes on vacation.
Looking forward to getting some Creatathon graphics developed over the weekend, though!
