I've been working on that "Helldivers 2 Mod Loader" I talked about in my last post.
I decided to go forward with developing it, not as a "Modding Framework" like I previously wanted to, but as a general modding toolkit.
To prevent people from using it to cheat, it will not work with the online/live game. You will have your own war to command and control.
It's possible to get custom matchmaking (So you could play with people using the same mods as you) but that is just an idea for the future.
It's still a little too early for me to show it off, but I'm making good progress. If you'd like to support me, I'll also be setting up a patreon soon 🖤
Helldivers 2 has some crazy modding potential with how the engine is built.
I'm considering working on a Mod Loader that would allow for true modular modification.
Custom Enemies, Custom Weapons, etc.
Not just swapping in-place.
This is something that would be a big undertaking for me, and I don't know how long it would take.
But I know it is possible, and I know how I would do it.
I would be working on this for the community, and I'd love to see the general reaction to it, I think it could REALLY improve modding for the game.
So my question, if you're someone interested, what is something you'd like to do with Helldivers that you currently can't? Due to the game's current patching limitations.

Exciting news!!
I have launched my Patreon!
Alongside the first development log of HDSE, the Helldivers 2 modding toolkit I've been working on for the past few weeks.
Once HDSE is in good enough condition, I will start hosting early access tests with supporters, to gear up for a public release!

I *might* be uploading some Warhammer content soon.
I want to expand my channel into modding other games instead of just helldivers.
Today I got a full Debug Menu working on Darktide, so if I end up finding something interesting there will be a video on it lol.
