In particular, i focus on how supermassive black holes (SMBH) grow, trying to understand the connection between galaxies and their central supermassive black holes along with AGN.

The Nobel Prize in Physics 2026 has gone to Francis Halzen "for decisive contributions to the IceCube Neutrino Observatory and the discovery of high-energy neutrinos of astrophysical origin".
Congratulations to Francis and all at IceCube!
Here's some of my initial thoughts:
Hooray for an astrophysics/particle physics award!
I'm quite surprised this has gone to ONE person only (infamously the Nobel Prize can be split between a maximum of 3 people). IceCube is a HUGE collaboration and every single scientist, engineer, and support staff need to be celebrated as well
The weirdest thing about this prize, to me, is that this is just a detection of something without a physical explanation yet. IceCube detected really high energy neutrinos back in 2013, such high energy they had to be coming from outside of the Solar System (i.e. not the Sun). But we still don't have an agreed upon physical explanation for what's producing these neutrinos. Which is weird to me, because usually if someone makes a theoretical prediction of something, they wait until it has experimental evidence to award the prize (e.g. see Peter Higgs with the Higgs Boson). So why does this not apply the other way around when we have experimental evidence but not a theoretical explanation?

🏆 2026 Nobel Prize in Science will be announce TOMORROW! Physics on 6th Oct, then Chemistry in 7th Oct 🔬 But before that, ask yourself: Who gave YOU mass? 🤯
And where did the mass of your body actually come from?
🌌 I explored the answer in my video. https://youtu.be/eZ3XtW3RLV4?si=tNEMQ...
👉 Watch till the end, it will literally break your brain. 🧠

When the experiment finally works… and you just need a minute to process it 🧠✨
That face when the data hits different.
No lab coat. No hype. Just pure “wait… did that actually happen?” energy.

POV: I casually met the first woman who flew around the Moon 🌕🚀
Just stood next to NASA Astronaut Christina Koch right after her historic Artemis II mission. Still completely speechless!
What an unbelievable honor.

It was just 16 minutes from landing.
On February 1, 2003, the Space Shuttle Columbia disintegrated during re-entry over Texas, killing all seven astronauts aboard. It was one of the most tragic days in the history of human spaceflight.
The crew of STS-107 included Commander Rick Husband, Pilot William McCool, Mission Specialists Kalpana Chawla, David Brown, Laurel Clark, Michael Anderson, and Payload Specialist Ilan Ramon, the first Israeli astronaut. They had spent 16 days in orbit conducting groundbreaking scientific experiments that spanned biology, physics, and Earth observation. #NeverForget
The tragedy was caused by a chunk of insulating foam that broke off during launch and struck the shuttle’s left wing. This created a breach in the heat shield, which allowed superheated gases to enter the wing structure during re-entry, leading to the vehicle's destruction.🕊️🚀
The disaster halted shuttle flights for over two years and led to major overhauls in NASA’s safety protocols. #STS107 #ColumbiaDisaster

🚨 NASA is at a crossroads.
We just saw international space station (iss) evacuated for an emergency. Meanwhile, Artemis II is ready to launch to the Moon.
If you were the NASA Administrator and had budget for ONLY ONE, which mission would you save? 🤔👇
